If mughal return back after war, not get immediate supply from Martha's against mughal not possible due to distance. Marathas realise rajput insecure with geoposition so that's the reason making good relationship small hindu raja rajput taking charges to making powerful on North india side.

I really enjoyed this series, I am an American guy married to a Marathi. I find this history extremely fascinating. I loved how Shivaji scratched his kingdom from nothing but pure determination! I would be a lock if you had more content from Bhaskaran Madame, I have a lot of respect for her after hearing her speak on Shivaji. She really carries on his true legacy on equality for the oppressed people that I find a lot of that today has been lost in India. Thank you.

Not only listening to podcasts, as a Maratha I would suggest you to also reads some history books based on Maratha History bcoz these trilogy podcasts are not able to cover every aspect of Marathas The Maratha history is vast and deep. Once you start reading, you will feel very close to our land as well. 😊and it is really nice to hear that our history is crossing the borders and reaching in another hemisphere.😊

In 1680 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj died in 1681 Aurangzeb came to Deccan and started a war with Marathas, Aurangzeb died in 1707 in Aurangabad this 27 years Marathas faught with Aurangzeb by remembering the teachings given by shivba this is what she meant

Sarsenapati Hambirrao mohite was a great warrior. It was a tradition in Marathas,in battlefield if you kill 100 enemy soldiers one flower like star was engraved on the sword,on the sword of Hambirrao mohite there are total of 6 stars (He had killed 600 confirmed kills).The same sword is still kept on pratapgad.
