I used to be a big fan of Yuval Harari but have gradually realised that he's part of the leftist orthodoxy. Everything that the left complains about, it does itself, but always covertly. The left prefers political correctness and rhetoric over truth. Yuval's hypocrisy becomes abundantly evident when you look at him without starry eyes. His uninterested dismissal of Trump's election twice, his unquestioning support for Kamala, his inability to openly appreciate anything about Modi and within his own field, his desperate political correctness in writing about the lack of historical matriarchies in Sapiens, his insistence that world leaders should be inauthentic (translation: untruthful) in order to control the narrative. The list is endless. I'm very glad Ranveer subtly exposed this blatant bias by asking really pointed questions. Wonder how much more dogma would've been exposed had he asked him about Younger Dryas Impact. But Ranveer's time is better spent with more daring and open minded thinkers than Yuval can ever be. He's part of the ecosystem protecting the new orthodoxy, just like the catholic Church was 500 years ago. But we're in a very fortunate time, the unraveling of the orthodoxy has already begun, kal chakra badal raha hai.

Tbh in this podcast I didn’t find him lefty or righty😂. As he said trump is a selfish man and he will only do what interests him and America most. And it is correct, he has been like this many times. And on Modi part about Russia Ukrain situation his answer was very ignorant that I would definitely accept other than that he was in middle
@automate_monkey8 сағат бұрын
I agree with you brother!!! This is total disappointment 🥲

Couldn’t agree more!!
@avinashpathak25367 сағат бұрын
As Yuval said, 'We receive data and we react', we did not analyse. I think this is what happening in this comment section. I did not find him leftiest and certainly not 'woke'.
@omkarthorat96515 сағат бұрын
I think you were not listening to the podcast and just wanted to express your right wing bias here. He specifically mentioned why trump is not good in regards to how he is power hungry and would not care a bit more than that. Whereas Kamala or Biden are the players who respect democracy and accept their defect ensuring that the verdict of the people is mandated. It's not about who is more efficient and who is not it's about the underlying intentions that differ them and the same goes for modi. Please go back and listen because he mentions it twice as you rightly pointed out and I'm amazed that you couldn't comprehend even then.

But 1st fix your own house before helping others & that is exactly what Trump & team are saying they will do!!

An inspiring podcast. The interviewee is brilliant and has great clarity of thought. He wants us all to evolve. His meditation is not coloured by fiction but by reality and hence focuseson the breath. Powerful. His is not a leftist/rightist agenda. He wants people to be forewarned about the dire future. He wants people to evolve, which is about the best agenda any human being can have.

Hey Ranveer , just a suggestion Why don't you bring experts in two fields together and have a great podcast by one reflecting on others perspectives. For Instance, A Neurosurgeon and a Spiritualist and more matchups like Physicist and Mathematician, Astrophysicist and Theoretical Physicist, etc.(Sorry also other professions, it's just I am a science geeks😅) Trust me, it will be much more insightful when we discuss topics based on multiple perspectives and biases which are linked and correlated with each other.

@remindprakash8 сағат бұрын
I liked his book Sapiens. But Yuval seems to have got it all wrong about the current situation of the world. Russia invading Ukraine was basically due to NATO expansion which he seems to have forgotten or purposefully not mentioning. Elon has been talking about AI regulations for a long time. He supported Trump. Yuval is forgetting all these I think. And other societal problems happening in the US and elsewhere. I think he is not in touch with reality.
