In this episode, we have with us another all-star of The Ranveer Show - Dr. Siddharth Warrier. After talking to this man for one hour, I truly felt like I had explored the deepest parts of my brain. One of the most knowledgeable humans to appear on the show.
In this very special conversation, we discuss the world of plant medicine and drugs like never before. The perception of the world has changed in various categories. However, there are quite a few things that are misunderstood or wrongly judged. One such thing is drugs. Prescription drugs or OTC drugs are most commonly used all over. Then why do we have this closed perception of taboo topics when it comes to psychedelics and psychedelic drugs like Ayahuasca, Weed, LSD, and many others. On the show, we had a certified professional explain the neuroscience behind these substances. Dr. Siddharth Warrier is an expert neurologist, who breaks down the effects of drug usage and alcoholism. Enjoy this episode.
Dr. Siddharth Warrier also runs his own podcast and KZbin channel from the ABCs of neuroscience to the most complex phenomenons.

One important aspect which was not that explained was the overdose and its fatality.. Curious first-timers may not have access to the right dosage when purchased illegaly and the right company.. This can prove deadly.. So no matter what, don't try anything just for curiosity. Life is precious... Ranveer and Sid sir, a humble request, kindly take a note of highlighting it again and again during the podcastthat..

I started doing drugs since my teenage. Got addicted to cocaine for over 23 years. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 9 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.

Macro vs Micro had success in doing a few Macro first . Allowing the mushrooms to blast you into self awareness , showing you the shadows and trauma that have been hiding under the rug . Micro dosing has helped me stay on the pulse of my shadow work , helping me remember my best self .

Great way of educating people.. not just our gen x but gen z too.. love the way how the reality of the different drugs were put in play by sharing real time experiences and how it feels to be high on weed, LSD, ayahuasca and when you actually get more real with yourself and know when to have the required breaks for your system.. Addiction is not something that develops by doing something everyday but rather creating dependence on substances feeling they make you happy.. Recreational activities done in a controlled manner won't be of any harm.. Thanks once again for these details. 💞

I guess one of the bests till now (tho all of them are unique in themselves) Also, im a 10th grader and i'll be taking medical further and wanna do my masters in neuroscience (at least this is the plan as for now), this particular episode has really fascinated me a lot more in this career direction. Thanks a lot 💝 Just a question, the plant behind Ranveer has a sticky note over it which says "talk to me", is it anything in particular, I mean why have you stuck it on that plant?

The plant which he is talking about is ayahuasca and there some more other substances of this like magic mushroom or the magic honey which all contains a chemical called psilocybin which effects include hallucinations, euphoria and other worldy peace and also reveals you is something far more further which can only few lucky beings feels which I like to called to mirrow world. Hope this helps and my advice will be stay away from weed and cigarettes and try some of this if you can in a suitable and safe environment.

LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before."

@@kimaya2309 What you actually need to complete CA is - mental strength. The portion isn’t hard, the way of correcting and the questions can be. Things can go haywire and you may not pass intermediate level in one go. But what you need is a belief in your ambition and study it all over again, you will get tired, you will feel that maybe this isn’t for you, but things aren’t for you when you decide that they’re not. So until, you don’t give up, you’ll get through it sooner than you think. If you’ve failed, there’s a sure shot explanation for it - there’s something you missed on while preparing. Find that thing and work on it till your next attempt. All the best and believe that you can do it!! You’ll be able to clear foundation based on your preparation easily. Problems arise later, prepare yourself according to your time and plan it out well

This episode was awesome. Dr was explaining "out of body" experiences with Kitty party , that also made be curious about NDE that get reported all over. @Beerbiceps can we have a podcast on NDE patients where people report out of body experiences when they have died for few minutes and are back to explain that?

52:32 I dont use these things but I also enjoy being alone to be able to focus on opening my mind to bigger ideas. There are pretty much no conclusions in life, so being creative is part of our human expereince; being in the flow state of conciousness where we all learn from one another. The only reason why Ive learned so much was from both, isolation and communication. Integration and absorbption. Its kinda hard to explain but put it this way. We share ideas and we are enjoying it (call it being stoned). Our neurochemistry is doing its thing. Thats hardware, spiritual is more of software. So, when there is a trend of thought in society; a box. The mind gets claustrophobic and needs to escape and gather new ideas. This happens in revolutions and stuff. But when we all communicate fresh ideas we grow as a species. I used to be very closed minded until i started listening to everything and sharing how i connect to my own experience. And also it goes both ways where people say you can only be creative by meditation or you can only be creative by weed. Or people say you can only get to god by my religion. Stagnant enegry is not good. There should be a flow of ideas and balance in everything.

Thanks for the podcast for various information. I am more interested in quantum biology more than the atomic and molecular levels. What I have known till today is that Ayurveda is quantum medicine and works at a quantum level. Back in the day or still today, many people might think that is pseudoscience because they have never had any experience or they are not willing to experience it. And most importantly, Ayurveda consists of 10-15% only medicine, and the other 85-90% is the role of self-healing that it teaches. Can you please create a podcast on such areas? I suggest some persons bring the podcast such as Sinu Joseph

Awesome podcasts on this show. Love to hear Dr. Sid. 1 question. Some people seem in general happy about life. Some are negative and largely hate themselves. Can the latter category do something to switch into positivity in general and self confidence. Or atleast maximize the span of feel good and reduce bouts of the low.

If possible, try calling Mayim Bialik- a neuroscientist in the US who also has her own podcast channel on youtube and also played the role of ‘Amy Farrah Fowler’ on the Big Bang Theory sitcom. I am sure, one new gem of podcast can come out of her too. Love your work! Cheers 🥂
