Hey Cloud, slight suggestion for future videos of this series. I think the video would be easier to understand and digest if you (or your editor idk) edited the video in such a way that every patch u show had some constant so the viewer could tell at a glance which patch was being talked about/compared to; for example at 3:40, you compare Season 1 Beerus to Current Beerus, its edited so that Season 1 Beerus is shown on Cell Games Arena on the left side of the screen while Current Beerus is shown on Supreme Kai's Planet on the right. However at 8:56 you compare Season 3.5 to Season 1 by showing Season 3.5 on Cell Games Arena on the left side of the screen, and Season 1 on Supreme Kai's Planet on the right side of the screen. Visually this communicated to me at first that Beerus got nerfed in between patches because I had subconsciously associated Supreme Kai's Planet on the right side of the screen as referring to the current version of the game, but it was actually referring to a previous version of the game. I think if say you gave each patch its own map (for example Season 1 will always be shown on Planet Namek, Season 3.5 is always on Cell Games Arena), and if previous versions of the game were always on the left and future versions on the right it would improve the videos and make them easier to watch and understand. Hope i communicated this well, and it didnt come off as too nitpicky. Loved the video.

Something you didn't bring up was that his 2M used to miss ALL THE TIME. Not even a distance thing-it would just sometimes stop slightly too early because of its detection-causing it to miss the vast majority of the time. 3.5 was a bigger buff than it looked like.

These before and afters, actually seeing Cloud move around in the actual day1 base game, it actually really does show how far the game has come. Every season always plays drastically different but we're still playing the exact same game so many years later. It's crazy. I wonder how much stuff is actually still possible in the base game too. Every character has gotten so many changes, it's hard to imagine Ginyu without his double summons or Krillin without rock assist, or straight up how the game's mechanics have changed to make stuff easier and more fluid.

5:50 actually, he can still solo double super- the route is just different and the system mechanic changes that nerfed double super routes mean its pretty much worthless to do But it is still possible: 2M 5M 2H SD jL jM jc jL jM jS(3) j214L 236HS 236LM optional LM / HS for level 2 tested just now on current version against Gogeta Blue midscreen. Using the forbidden starter, two j4Ls before the jc and the level 2 (for a total of three bars) I ended up with 5028 damage

They went way overboard with beerus. They need to revert his 2m being able to go through ki blasts and make his level 3 have whiff recovery/recovery on block again. It not being punishable is bullshit, it can keep the damage buff though that’s fine. If they did that, slightly buffed the range on his 5l and 2h, and made his level 2 automatic so you don’t have to time it, then he’d be perfect imo.

@@ripcore76 Exactly my point. Which is why they need to revert the changes they made that went a little too overboard. Shit like beerus having no recovery on his level 3. It’s broken enough being able to teleport on top of doing 2k damage scaled. It at least needs to be punishable to compensate. His 2m is a lot faster now and goes fullscreen, it does NOT need to also beat almost all projectiles too that’s dumb asf. Other shit like gt goku having full invul on his reverse kamehameha also needs to go. It can stay ki blast invul, but the full invul needs to go away. Same with blue Vegetas ex grab. It can be ki blast invul but not full invul. Other changes they need to revert would be ss4 being able to convert off his command grab meterlessly, and his ex lariat needs to be a light starter on top of maybe 2-3f slower, his auto combo also needs to not be an anti air. Jiren needs his 2l to have light scaling. Blue Gogeta needs the range on his 2m to be nerfed at least a little, Z brollys ex lariat needs to be a light starter, vegito needs a small hitstun buff to his A assist so you can at least get a dr confirm after a combo, they made it trash. It should be 62-63f of hitstun so it’s similar to other assists like that, 57-58 is too little. To compensate his 5m needs to have a range nerf. Yamcha, bardock, base goku, ui, kid buu, cooler and goku black still need a few minor buffs, hit and Zamasu need their meter nerf reverted, but Zamasu should get his flight duration nerfed by at least 3 seconds. On top of that they need to make it so you can’t empty vanish after level 1 and level 2 spark. It should only be allowed during level 3 spark, and limit break needs its damage buff cut in half from 10 percent to 5 percent max. Or it needs to be removed entirely.

kinda- he now has 2 separate level 3s, technically using R1 / RB / Light+Medium / DR button with the backwards motion gives his usual grab level 3. using R2 / RT / Heavy+Special / SD button does literally the exact same move, except he fully tracks to teleport behind you first. And using either of them while in the air (which is new, he couldn't do that before) teleports him straight to the ground, then does everything else like usual
