Superb blog today Olly, bits of everything! The way that front mounted mower munched through that one year old growth was amazing, made mincemeat of it. Baking tin looked good in its varnished state. Keep well, I’m a strong 87% today. 😊

About 85%. Heavy cold last night being shivery and decided to take things easy today, due to being full of cold. Got hay making gear out ready, but I feel weather too cold and a lack of sunshine to get grass dry enough for small bale hay currently SW Hampshire. Cold feels as if it wants to return tonight again. Interesting and nice to see bee hives on your farm.

Thanks; you saw my point about a clear coat finish showing how hot the metal did or didn't get during the bake I take it then? That's a pretty normal colour for a still liquid acrylic varnish, so go ahead and use the rest. If it's too thick, add a little (not more than 10%) water. You got a better sleep last night? If not, note my hints (honestly from a real GP). Weather here cooler than I'd like, but mostly dry with occasional showers. Not out, so just stuck on 100%,

Where does the time go Olly.12 Months on from the combine challenge 😲. The weather around Preston was decent enough today for me to get out in the garden with my new battery powered strimmer (It's a Beast) and I totally mullered the weeds. Next job tomorrow (Weather permitting) is to Salt & Vinegar treat the slate garden at the front of the house to keep the weeds especially the Horsetail at bay. I do this every so often as it's cheaper than lifting the slate to replace the barrier sheet underneath, all the plants I want to keep are in planters or raised beds so will not be affected. 😉.

Hi Olly I was going to say I thought you had the date wrong, because I met you in a lay by on the A30 with a ice cream in your hand, i believe that was on the 7th, I do believe you got to Lands end on the 8Th of June then went to the Royal Cornwall show that day. My workers do not get access to my tools anymore I keep mine they keep theirs, if they can’t find something they wear the frustration till I buy another which depending on the worker can take a while

I think I've already said this; look for a GP who can and will prescribe medicinal grade cannabis, high in analgesics (which you want) and low in Cannaboids (which just get you high).

At the moment The Asian Hornet is in East Sussex some 10 miles inland from Rye and of course, sadly in Kent. Beekeepers in SE are monitoring progress very very carefully for obvious reasons.

Why don't you have a tool kit just for you which you can store near the house with no one else being allowed to use it. Then if any missing it's down to you.
