you can tell that the pianist puts what he has into playing this piece, and then with the orchestra adding into it...its like one big soul that's playing it. But its also like the pianist is the one that is directing the music, if he goes faster everyone else does too, if he goes softer they have to too. they're not just playing black dots on a paper, they're playing music. putting all they have into it. its so beautiful. I love that this pianist and the orchestra play this piece at *human* speed - slow and romantic, giddy and fast, slow and breathtaking, then a restless pulse of unease, furtively dancing back into the main mode, slower, and ending with a sense of unfulfilled longing. Most times, Fur Elise is played WAY too fast, too rote, too much like a piano roll or a computer. You gotta slow it down to feel the emotion, the longing, and if it’s played too fast, the faster parts of this song sound like a blur of notes instead giddiness and heart-flutter.

I love listening to all the different takes on this song. It's got so much feeling that can be expressed in so many different ways. Something caught me by surprise though. I don't think I've ever heard the left hand being accentuated like this. The three notes played by the left hand are so strong, independent and actually create a very new feeling to me. I really love this take. The orchestra might be helping a little bit in accentuating this take, but I'm pretty sure the piano part is also played differently. Love it. Christopher Piano Exactly. I hate when people say “Für Elise is so easy to play” or when people say “piano is so easy to play”. Für Elise is a difficult piece, not because of the notes, but because of the way you have to play it and the emotion you must put into the song, just like what this pianist did. People that say that are obviously very naïve when it comes to piano and probably don’t put any emotion into it. I have about 5 years of piano experience and even now, I still consider Für Elise a difficult song and not good for beginners.
@amadeusmusique41536 жыл бұрын
@@VFG204 I agree with you, a lot of songs that people play sound so emotionless, if people play like that, like this man, that's what you could call a virtuoso, not someone who doesn't feel something like '' what would beethoven feel? '' and they don't play normal speed the real speed, the real speed is based on your emotions on what you feel in your heart.

This pianist is amazing, he is hypnotising, playing this classic piece from Beethoven. I read that the score for Für Elise was not published till many years after Beethoven's death. It was found by a music artist & given back to his son's to be published. Amazing, love the way he does not rush this piece, every note is crystal clear.

I've heard this song since I was a kid. Until now, this song is still my favorite song to listen to before going to sleep. The orchestra played very beautifully. It impressed me.

Here my story with this masterpiece: I worked in Taco Bell a couple of years, as a person who loves good music I used to whistle those piano notes while working... a guy from Uruguay was the only one who told me: "Fur Elise?", while the rest of the crew told me "stop whistle". (makes me feel like someone understands me)
@ssroudyss94323 жыл бұрын

Georgii Cherkin ! Many Thanks for this piece of perfection that you have played - I've been listening to so very many different pianists playing Für Elize since i was a child in the 1970s, but THIS IS THE FINEST EVER that I heard. It's almost unreal ! God Bless ! 🙏

@Greg Normal Hello, I'm doing very well thank you ! Since age 12, I'm a devoted Indian fan of Western classical music - especially of Bach and Beethoven. Also Häyden and Brahms. But now I'm also a fan of this Maestro here who has played Fur Elize to absolute perfection ! I'm 62 now and can't imagine a life without classical music ! Peace to you. Be well brother. 🙏
