Turkish March by Mozart arranged for piano and orchestra. Rondo alla Turca was originally composed for solo piano in 1783 by W. A. Mozart and it is the final movement of his Piano Sonata Nо. 11 K. 331
Listen also to Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata arranged for piano and orchestra:

Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Arranged for piano and orchestra by Georgii Cherkin
Piano performance by Georgii Cherkin
Conducted by Grigor Palikarov
Classic FM Orchestra
230 years later for the first time was premiered the version for Piano & Orchestra in the arrangement by Georgii Cherkin. This video represents the live event and was highly acclaimed by the public. The style of the orchestration is however a little bit more romantic while the piano part remains original. The melodic lines in the orchestra are more in the style of Tchaikovsky than Mozart, and remind a little bit of the James Bond Theme, but the concept of the piece is strictly followed. Let's say that this is a modern version of the Turkish March enhanced with the rich orchestral sound. I put a lot of love when I did this arrangement with the intention to add more beauty and expression to this already famous piano piece and I hope that I succeeded and that people will really like it.
Actually I am not the first who adds a romantic touch to an already existing composition by Mozart. In the past I was very impressed by Max Reger - Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Mozart, Op. 132 which is over the same Piano Sonata K 331 by Mozart. It really enrich the nice simple theme with great romantic passion.
If you wish to buy the score of this arrangement, please contact me at: pianoarrange@gmail.com
The arrangement is also available for Piano & Strings and suitable for Piano and String Quartet.

I did not rearrange it, just added an orchestral sound. The original piano remains the same. When I was young was very impressed by Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Mozart by Max Reger - this work is in the repertoire of the most famous orchestras in the world and it is a composition over the same Piano Sonata K 331. There is nothing about 'improving' the piece, just about adding a new breath to something already established. I suggest you to listen to Max Reger an let me what you think :)

Now do the rest of the sonata. I'd be excited and curious to see how you pull off the 1st and 2nd movements, considering the first is a Theme and Variations, and the 2nd is a Minuet and Trio.

Thank you for your comment! Actually I did it with the risk to be critisized from all over the world :) Yes, there is some influence from Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff that I have. The piano part is just the same and the orchestra adds slightly romantic touch to the piece mainly in the principal theme. There are some conservative people who do not like it and think that the world should remain just the same with no changes at all ;)

Thank you very much! I just used a more modern harmonic language, which was not available at that time. Actually it is a common practice famous composers to rearrange compositions from other composers from the past. Such examples are Brahms - Händel Variations, Rachmaninoff - Paganini Variations etc. :)
