For better or worse, many who are not familiar with classical music--now recognize this thanks to the movie "DIE HARD". Hey, it's one way to introduce this beautiful tune to many. We sing this during the Christmas season in church. Gets the people motivated who may otherwise have been thinking about the other commercial chores involved with this holiday--wrapping gifts, cooking, cleaning, etc. I know I've always loved "Ode to Joy"--so uplifting for me!!! And Jonathan Scott is my favorite organist--bar none!!!
