My piano teacher often used metaphors to describe how she wanted me to play different notes or parts of a piece and what they were supposed to sound like. This looks like what I would probably imagine if she was trying to teach me this piece.

A silver penny, or pfennig would have been the equivalent of losing alot of money in the late 1700s. I've heard of English factory workers making sixpence a week during that time period.

I analyzed the harmony in this piece and got into a bit of an argument over bars 57-68. From beat 4 of bar 68 onwards, I heard the same keys. But in bars 57-68, I heard Bb Major and someone else heard G Minor. I still think that I’m correct, after all, bars 62-64 are clearly a cadence in Bb Major and would be just nonsensical to analyze in G Minor. And starting a phrase on the relative minor chord isn’t unheard of.
