It's insane how fast some pianists are attempting to play this second movement - its an orchestral scherzo and already in two making it seem faster than if it was in three! Check out the Barenboim's recording. Coupled with already hyperactive frenetic last movement and no slow movement in this sonata it really does no justice to this piece.
