It's very refreshing to listen to this version of the Kreutzer sonata. And it is played so well, yet I am missing some of the original colors. But maybe I shouldn't compare. Bravo!!!!

This is so much better than the original- it captures new colors with the timbres of the strings - it doesn’t hold a candle to what a piano can do on it’s own tho - both versions have their benefits but this is my favorite by far - outstanding ensemble playing - conducting and playing is hard to do! I remember Vengerov doing something similar for Tzigane!

Well he has the best version of this caliber - Anne-Sophie’s is the definitive version besides Yuna Shinohara ofc, but don’t compare - this interpretation is equal to theirs in my opinion!
