Do you see the horizontal scratches on the Steelbook? I agree on the debossing, looks really nice.

@@JohnDoe-gc9dy those aren’t scratches, they are part of the artwork. Its mist swoops. If you look at any stock images of that steelbook you will see 🙂 thanks for checking out the video

@@FlicksAndPixels Thanks for the clarification, unfortunately I have seen scratched Steelbooks so often. It's a shame that the Steelbook is not released individually. Would the 1080p Blu-ray be remastered? At least in Germany, the 4K plastic case still contained the old disc from 2008.

@@JohnDoe-gc9dy no problem 🙂 in terms of the steelbook having a single release, you are in luck my friend as it’s currently available at the WB Shop for £25 and it terms of the blu-ray, I am not too sure if it’s a new master in conjunction with the 4K remaster. @@FlicksAndPixels Thanks, unfortunately too expensive if you have it delivered to Germany with postage and customs. Steelbooks are also very fragile and usually arrive damaged. Do you know the website caps-a-holic with image comparisons? Maybe you could compare Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray because of the masters. I really like that they use the original poster artwork for the Steelbook. Is the poster artwork painted?

Are the new Beetlejuice standard Bluray based on the 4K color balanced version or the old Bluray from 2008? Would be really interested to know. thx :)

@@Quast I believe it was a remaster across the board with a new blu ray alongside the 4k release back in 2020

@@FlicksAndPixels Oh man if that's the case then I got to get myself the 4K+Bluray version because I've been waiting that they'd do a new single release as standard Bluray. I'll give it a try! :)

@@FlicksAndPixels Nah, it's the same Bluray as from 2008, print is the same and you can easily spot how the color balance is off to more red and green and no neutral white and the language versions haven't changed :( Return to sender I hope for the new release in a few months that this time the standard Bluray gets the new version... but I have limited hope
