The waiting room with Delia deetz might mean she's dead. Beetlejuices wife is searching for him for whatever reason and she's missing the same finger he had in his pocket I. The first movie. The Maitlands might be cgi into the film because they still have over 100 years to be in that house. Unless they've been in the waiting room again which time moves differently. Bj blowing a hole in the wall to the afterlife by drawing a bomb on the wall instead of a door might mean that he's been shunned from the afterlife. He also brought Lydia and Justin's character into the model in the last scene, you can see his signage and stuff in the windows. So he shrank them down. They might not explain certain power and world rules here which I'm hoping isn't the case but in alot of shots, Astrid seems to be getting more and more sickly looking and she might be running out of time.. they might be borrowing that from coco with the living trying to be in the world of the dead and they need beetlejuice to go get her .defoes character is a dead actor turned investigator in the afterlife and he is also chasing bj down as well... theres alot of shots that were at cinemacon that didn't end up in this trailer which is unfortunate cause it's even better stuff, more horror oriented scenes. This trailer was more nostalgia baiting and thats fine, i know theres alot of this movie they arent showing off yet.. theres gunna be some wild shit in this film... its tim Burton taking the disney gloves off and going full tilt.
