You are the first person I’ve seen mention it, I always think they’re giving her the benefit of the doubt, which never made sense to me, because whenever somebody else playing Lydia would make a tiny mistake, everyone would jump on it. We saw them on tour a few days ago at Kravis in west Palm and it was so vibrant even though it seems dark! So much comedy and relevance to today’s politics! From staging to lighting, to cast and crew the whole thing was so amazing! I’ll definitely see it again and bring more people with me. I put this show on the top shelf along side Anastasia in my book! 📕 it was magical Y’all!

Yep! Two current ensemble members, Ryan Breslin and Nevada Riley, are leaving the broadway cast to join the tour, along with former members of the Broadway cast including Abe Goldfarb (who will play Otho on tour), Sean McManus, and Morgan Harrison.

If you compare Elizabeth and Sofia, Elizabeth looks like a tomboy with funny movements, and she also constantly opens her mouth in surprise, which repels me. Sophia looks more graceful, she has more different emotions and she sings better.

There's literally no point in comparing Sophia and Elizabeth all the time. First of all, they have different ways of bringing the character to life and interpret it differently. Secondly, I'm pretty sure Sophia left the show? It's not like she's suddenly coming back if people prefer her over Elizabeth. I personally love Elizabeth's performance in certain songs and Sophia's in others. And then on top of that their performances can differ depending on the day, because everyone has bad days. So now stop bashing performers because "the other one was better".

the number has been changed a lot for this tv performance- a lot of jokes cut and vocals warped/played from speakers so it’s lost a bit of it’s spark. but performed in the theatre, where it’s meant to be, it’s a great number and show that, in my opinion, outshines the movie in every possible way.
