really appreciate seeing all Beezie's flatwork in this video --- esp the huge focus on getting the horse in front of the leg. i feel like i've *never* had my horse as in front of the leg as she has this horse here haha

That’s really cool that Beezie rides the horse and helps his owner with him and try’s to make them together better

W Cameron Zane, Is that comment in reference to what we are seeing here?

I wish we could have some commentary as to why she’s doing what she’s doing

I don't like what she is doing, pulling in the mouth and digging the spurs in, ripping him into the downward transitions...

@@fuddyduddyhorsemanship I look forward to seeing you in the Olympics! since you clearly know how to ride much better than Beezie

@@fuddyduddyhorsemanship the horse is "running" but not "moving". When Beezie is trying to send him forward he grabs the bit yet he is behind the leg. then when she tries to shorten his stride without braking the gate he wiggles, fights rather then soften. will take few rides to get him very supple and collect while staying straight but you can see improvements... Fuddy, for me I would have to go a bit up bc of my wrist injury, but I have plenty of leg to compensate for it. My horse used to be like that and now he is like an EQ horsie and kids can ride him.... The training is absolutely correct, yes you can put some bits that will make it look. "softer" but that is not what on him at the moment. You get the job done with what you have...

@@fuddyduddyhorsemanship my pleasure. It's not easy to watch the video and try to understand what's taking place. I hope now you can watch it again and see how she's working through it and then how the writer is able to have the horse in control but forward without running

This isn’t a riding school type horse that plods along on a long rein and has no life in it , this is an energetic sport horse that is very complex to ride , Beezie is one of the best riders in the world and I’m sure she knows what she’s doing 😉
