Apologies if I got this wrong, but the "bit crushing" mentioned in the video is really "sample rate reduction" - the former reduces resolution in the amplitude domain, while the latter reduces resolution in the time domain. One way to do bit crushing in Eurorack is with a quantizer. Both effects sound quite similar because they introduce aliasing to the signal, so the confusion is understandable. Anyway, nice demo!

Thanks for the comment, and for watching. You might well be right there. I think "bitcrusher" has become a bit of a catch-all term for effects that reducing the quality of an analogue signal by converting it to 'bits' and reducing the rate or amplitude (or both) of those bits. It might be a bit of a marketing thing, but yes I think you're very much correct in what you say. I'm definitely going to investigate quantifiers as bit crushers, sounds like an interesting topic, maybe for a future video... Cheers!

It is possible to perform Sample Rate reduction with the WoggleBug?

Nice video to pop on my feed - I've now subbed and you deserve many more :). You've sold me on this module, I'll need to wait til it comes back in stock at Thonk now! Great to hear you can rediscover modules before getting rid of them - I've just made a case of 'soon to go' modules in case they have something I'm missing - I'm glad I've done this now having seen this.

Thanks for watching. I know what you mean... just try not to think about modules you've got rid of in the past that might actually have been awesome. Blue Lantern Mini Shimmery anyone? What was I thinking...? :D
