He is clearly leagues above most boxers that he has faced. Pedraza, Santa Cruz, and Barrios were good tests in my opinion. Solid boxers who were winning before they ran into Davis. He needs another big name, sort of like how Lopez fought Loma.

His first few opponents made the mistake of thinking he was a Floyd-type fighter. I can imagine what they were thinking once the punches started flying.

@@seand7042 Yup, a young Floyd was a powerful counterpuncher who threw combos that knocked you out before even you blinked. I think it was after the fact that he realized his hands were crumbling (I think either he was diagnosed with brittle bones or something like that) that he opted for the safer counterpunching style replacing combos with quick 1-2s and the odd powershot.
