Long term dedicated elemental sets will probably be better as we're likely to see characters scaling with HP and DEF also for which elemental sets will still work while attack sets don't. It is good for now though, and elemental sets can be a longer term goal with more resources and as characters release.

23:17 🎉 In 2+2 set the if the 4 is atk set, and double 1 are the elemental set, then the 3 slot need 1 more atk set with elemen dmg needed. The other 3 slot can be any set with elemen dmg needed. After transition, the slot 4 is heavily reusable by the next character to build.

the 3/3 +2/2(atk) sound good only if u have alot of echo exp and tuner at the point right now, invest in that is just wasted 'cause 1. if u casual mean u wont focus on those hard endgame content -> any mediocre 2/5 echos can archive things below those contents(holo diff 5, tower 18/30, so just wait for the right echos to use those exp,tuners 2. if u hardcore, u will get alot of those 3cost with right elements from field and MERGE(this is where i got 3cost most), trust me, u will reach the stage thats u have no credit shell, tuner, exp and a bunch of 3cost rotting in your storage so no, never invest in 44111 or 3/3+2/2

For me a 44111 was way easier to get than even a 2pc 2pc 43311. 44111 was operational week 1. I just managed to finally get an aero on lingering tunes to do a 2p 2pc today. I have killed hundreds of cyan herons and have never obtained an aero damage from them on aero set. Only aero set aero damage I have is a Chaserazor. I do have 2x aero damage echoes on moonlight clouds set so I guess I could use that too. A total of 4 aero damage echoes on my entire account but they are all Spearbacks and Chaserazors.

I only have 1 question and that is what happens when you have on set DMG % 3 cost echoes but your crit ratio is not good vs. a 44111 setup where your crit ratio is better balanced? Ex: with 43311 my HMC is only at 25%CR/200%CD but with 44111 my ratio is like 50 something ish % CR and over 200%CD. Is it better for me to remain 44111 and farm better Echo stats or go with the 2x DMG% instead and continue to farm for better stats? Other than this I feel so much better about all things Echo related lol

You only have 12 echo cost, and going 3333 means you can only equip 4 echos instead of 5. Main stat wise, you’ll have higher attack but no crit main stat, and you’ll also lose out on the substats that could potentially be on the 5th piece.

My 5 piece Aero is cracked with 80 crit and 220 crit dmg and with 4 3 star echoes my crit goes down to 60 and 200 crit dmg but it is more consistent and does more damage. Try it out if you have good 3 star echoes with double crit

For the 4-3-3-1-1 setup, one thing to consider is that the devs adressed the hard part of finding the right main stat in the event rewards that allows you to guarantee a set bonus and main stat on a 5* echo. Probably not worth using immediately but when you have a long time of not getting anything worthwhile it could be worth its weight in gold.

Definitely use them immediately imo if you have nothing better/of equal value. Each event guarantee 2 different 5-star echoes which already completes the 3,3 requirement for one character. Going from nothing, or even 4-stars, to two 3 5-stars is already a massive bonus early game. Even if you roll bad substats, the main stat is already a huge damage buff for your character/s.

Bro they should add an "Additional Material" that allows you to reroll the substat if u have another exact copy of that specific echo (including main stat & Element type). That way: -players will keep farming for echoes & resources even more -& that won't hurt the end game system. But right now right now if i get a good molten set I'd never dare to build another one Meaning if i get a good set of each Element then I'll STOP farming FR

This strategy (44111 mix set) for me is just valid for ppl that want to have the better stats possible quickly in the goal the push ToA on the 1er month. Long term ppl will have better 43311 full ELM, its a waste of resources I think aside of pushing ToA max "stars". It was the same story in genshin with the 2pc2pc.

Here's my advice 44111 on Calcharo and 43311 on Yinlin 44111 on Havoc MC and 43311 on Danjin So that they would not clash And reason why I chose this order is because Danjin/Yinlin gives havoc/electro dmg to Calcharo/Havoc mc

Somehow my Encore does way better with ATK% and ATK% than ATK% with ELE% or ELE% ELE% That might just be because how easy it is to get her fusion dmg bonuses from the fusion set, sequence, yinlin's sign weapon, and talents. With an ATK% ATK% she actually does 20% more damage than regular ELE% ELE%

This is very simple argument. In my personal experience I got a 44111 build going in about 1 week. My crit rate is over 50% and I have 230% crit damage on my Calcharo on lightning set. My Jiyan in comparison is still can not use a full aero set. I have only ever received a single aero damage 3 cost on aero set EVER. The drop chance must be something like 1% chance. I do own a single aero damage on lingering tunes set and none on moonlight clouds. I guess I could go with 2pc 2pc like that but I feel like I would have wasted so much valuable echo xp which is very precious right now since I do not do tacet fields as I am still building characters. My bottle neck right now is echo xp. I even Data Merged so many echoes to try and get more of the 3 costs and still no aero damage on lingering tunes, moonlight, or cloud. I mean holy shit this is crazy. I can not even get the main stat and you want me to RNG roll on the substats too? I could actually afford to roll for 4 cost crit rate substat echoes since I can get many more of them but 3 cost is a pipe dream. If it rolls all flat stats then you take that. 43311 is not competing on equap substat rolls. It is 43311 crap substats vs 44111 god rolls. That is why the damage difference is tiny if not even in favor of 44111 early on.

In regards to 44111 or 43311. One thing you did not consider is that you can forgo the set bonus and just slap on any 3 cost that just has the correct element. Note that this is NOT the "middle ground" you talked about. This is when both the 3 cost are literally not on set at all. When thinking in this context, a 4331 offset where the 3 cost has no restriction on what set it is, arguably isn't hard to obtain. With the entry level bar drastically lowered, but missing the 5pc set bonus, a 43311 off set combination still manages to eek out just a bit more than 44111 on set. That said, it can be argued that 44111 on set is less "wasteful" than 43311 off set, as you only have 1 echo that you level you basically will not use after (Thundering memphis and Crownless, but there are contentions here too). In comparison to 43311 off set, where you are potentially wasting 2 echoes (wrong element on the wrong set).
