Great video Barry. Thank you. I've lived in urbanizaciones in Spain but like you, they suited at the time but not ideal for permenant living. I much prefered living in a small town where there was always something going on and I was'nt constantly having to get into the car to do shopping etc.

Great video. Iam definitely looking at inland properties with bus or train services. Will travel around in June until than iam very much enjoying your videos. .

Good video! I will be interested if you make a video about the financial side of buying a property in Spain. I have heard many times people saying that you buy a property in the UK to make money off, while in Spain it's more of a life choice decision. If there is some hotspot, companies will just build more properties and meet the demand. Which is clearly not the case in the UK, where they barely build anything...

Great video, our townhouse is on the outside of our urbanization which gives us the best of both worlds. Although retired I don't think we would move out permanently but we do enjoy the sun and the quieter winter months when we can keep up our activity levels but our 90 days does play a part. The proximity to the coast is the big plus for us in Punta Prima but having a car lets us explore inland too. Cox is now on out list for next week. We don't eat out a great deal but Bao Zai is fantastic

I too lived in an urbanisation for a few months before moving up into the campo. Urbanisation to busy in the summer with noisy holidaymakers you never see again.

I was actually at the development in Playa Flamenca with a client on Saturday. Really nice and some great offers at the moment, not least fully furnished, all white goods and air-con. Very close to amenities too. Recommended.

My wife and I are considering buying a home in both Italy (first) and Spain (sometime later). Wife has family who live in Barcelona…(originally from Ecuador…with 2 generations born in Spain) but we want to find home, at least, as couple of hours drive from her family. That way, when we’re in Spain, we’e just far enough away that we won’t feel obligated to visit for every celebration (birthdays, anniversaries, festivals, etc…), but close enough to where we can if we want to.

Another excellent video. The apartments look lovely but at 300,000 to 550,00 a bit pricey. I think I’ll aim to just rent in the Autumn and Spring. Only problem we’ve got is getting our dog out there without us driving down from the North of England. I’ve just taken 3 months off work and with the UK weather being what it is, it felt that I was permanently house bound. I must admit the video you did on vets fees in Spain is one of my favourites.

The first part of Barry's video was in El Rincon and you can get a 3 bed 2 bath apartment there for 150k and a 2 bed for 130k.

Good, informative video Barry and people planning to live in Spain need to be aware of these realities before they move. Buying and selling property in Spain is very expensive and choose wisely to avoid making mistakes. Your vids exploring the smaller towns and villages of Spain provide a great contrast to urbanisation life. While this is definitely the more authentic Spain, it can also be quite noisy with neighbours constant construction work, limited amenities etc. shops, bars or restaurants and unless you speak decent Spanish, you can end up quite isolated too as a foreigner in the town or village.

Out of interest, what did you find "very expensive" about buying & selling property in Spain? We've done it 3 times now & each time it was far cheaper than doing so in the UK.

Hi Barry Do you know if there's a plan to build a bridge or a tunnel to link the new development over the road with the commercial centre or do you reckon they'll be building more shops and restaurants over there. Oh and btw its not all tat in the Europa.

Wonder how Spain will be impacted with them just pulling there golden visa programme, bount to have a massive impact more so on the upper price bracket properties which will have a knock on effect on other services

Not for me, rather stay in UK. The new properties have no character, and are just concrete jungles. If I was going to buy, would consider inland Spain, which has more character and culture. Good vid.

It all really all depeneds what urb it is, ive lived on busy urbs what are busy all year round which are mostly villas and some where alot just use as holiday urb (mostly apartments)!.I like your videos Barry but this really isnt one of them showing one urb as if that is urb way of living.
