Before Christopher Columbus there were lost cities, roads, empires and an entire New World Civilization. All of this is now hidden in the jungle! These people were the Maya, the Aztec, the Great Inca, and the other indigenous peoples of the Americas. 🏛️
Some of these ruins are still very much off the beaten path, which make them some of the best things to do and see in Mexico, if you know where to look!
Explore with me, on foot, some of the greatest of these cities, still barely touched by tourists, deep in the jungles of southern Mexico. These ruins that I take you to in this episode are SO UNKNOWN that you won't even recognize the names. If you were ever curious what America looked liked before Christopher Columbus, then you have found the perfect channel and explorer. 🗺️
Be an explorer with me, Toby Nomad, as we get Becan, Chicanna, and Xpujil ruins virtually to ourselves and climb pyramids, discuss New World Civilization and how it affected the collision of cultures that rocked the world forever and shaped the world that we live in today. 🌍
Prepare to be amazed by the mystery and grandeur of THREE EPIC EXCLUSIVE MAYAN CITIES! 🌟

Exploring the jungle ruins in Mexico is like stepping back in time to an ancient civilization. The visuals are stunning, and the storytelling is incredibly engaging. It's clear a lot of effort went into making this, and it definitely pays off. Can't wait to see more! Good Job❤

I like this because it seems secluded and mysterious! At Chichen Itza there were too many people.

I agree! When did you go to Chichen Itzá? And have you checked out my video about Calakmul? Also there’s Dzibanche and Kohunlich. All awesome.

Makes you wonder just how much history is hiding under that thick jungle. Mind boggling that we're exploring space and the deep ocean, when this real human history is right there

Isn’t it? I just find it so fascinating. What stories lie beneath. But I also love that the jungle is still there, so dense and mysterious :)

cool video. constructive criticism without trolling though. watch your cuts when making the videos. you cut right in the middle of just about every sentence. appears to not be fluid or genuine. no offense. but i did sub, love 2 of your vids now

Really? That’s interesting. Can you give one or two examples with times of when you noticed it so we can examine what’s going on? And what other vid did you like and why? Thanks for commenting!
