BEFORE HURRICANE HELENE HIT What were people BUYING at the North Carolina Reptile Show??

My sister and I drove from Asheville for this show. We found Dav but never bumped into you. I went home with some carnivorous plants to add to my carnivorous plant collection, some fancy isopods, and a jumping spider. My sister took home a vinegaroon. None of us expected how bad it was going to be here. We were incredibly lucky and did not have any damage to our building. We were blocked in by downed trees and power lines for only a day and were without power and water for about a week. Without a way to get feeder insects for some of our animals we drove down to our Dad's house in Florida for several days. Drove back home to Asheville yesterday to avoid the next hurricane heading toward Florida again. I am so very grateful that us and our animals are safe but... it's impossible to accurately describe the loss and destruction to our area. Thank you, and everyone else donating, for helping our community.

We are also in NC and can provide free vet visits for pets or native reptiles affected by the storm, we also have temporary foster housing, and supplies!
