I like this, it gives the musicians a decent warmup, and lets the congregation wander in, find their place, settle in greet each other. Et everyone in the old, forget their worries of the week and so forth. There’s nothing worse than starting a church meeting off, and the band are out of time, sync and tune with each other for the first song. Even the singers are a little rough for the first song so this is a very classy way to begin a church service.
