Never really considered it much until she mentions it right at the end. But that outfit at least felt justified in the sense that A) everyone on Madrona was similarly attired (Moros was equally skin heavy under those fluffy shoulder pads he had). And B) Why would they ever have heavy clothing? They literally control their weather. It would be lovely sunny days all the time unless they needed some rain for the crops, and they'd likely just stay inside for those. Doubt that they'd ever even seen snow before that cataclysm Maybourne's group plunged them into. Which explains why they never changed into anything warmer during the storms. Maybe I'm just excusing it, but it does make a certain amount of sense. It certainly feels less egregious than the attempts that were made to get a 6 of 9 type character with Anise and her outfits. Though it was nice to see a Tok'ra not just rocking the standard Tok'ra outfit, there was a very obvious agenda to that outfit versus Madrona. Thankfully the show usually avoided that trope for the most part. Women weren't just there to be eye candy, they had actual purpose and were involved in the goings on of the episodes. Outside of the big Showtime demands from the pilot at least. One of those things that makes Stargate so infinitely rewatchable as well. It doesn't age as poorly as a lot of shows because it treated all it's characters a bit more delicately than some other shows at that time.
