20+ years later and the lady is STILL gorgeous! I was lucky enough to meet her several years back.

One of the best episodes

That's almost an understatement. This one episode, about 20 years old, is still a better horror flick than just about anything put in theaters today, in that genre. And they still managed to keep the 'Stargate' vibe while doing it. That takes good writing, better acting, discrete practical and visual effects . . . and this one hits on all the notes.

Funny! I always remembered that episode being "Fog" or "Mist". The only SG episode that ever spooked my boy when he was younger.

Was great to see Nicole in another sci-fi show after DS9, her character had some nice chemistry with Carson that could have been developed had the show continued.

Technically she worked with Brad twice, because he was also on the 90s version of "The Outer Limits." She played an alien posing as a captured human fighter pilot using a captured human for information, "The Orville" did something similar in the episode "Nothing left Excepting Fishes"

Pedantry alert: The FN P90 is an Automatic Personal Defense Weapon developed for NATO use. As used in the show it was always full auto, although the regular military version can be switched to Semi-Auto via a small wheel/lever below the trigger. Semi-Auto mode is very useful in tactical situations but looks roughly 87.3% less cool on screen so it's almost never used.

Didn't Sam once demonstrate it to the Jaffa (and K'tano / Imhotep) on the other select fire settings? I know that was SG-1 and not SG-A.

@@paulbrickler She did. I think it was probably used in semi-auto in other places but I can't think of any just now
@paulbrickler7 сағат бұрын
@ I can't either or even 3-shot burst, but I think she did single-fire? Which is sort of Semi-Auto.

BTW: The P90”S” is the semi-auto version with a legal longer barrel (16-1/4” carbine length).

Love a great sci-fi horror episode. Whispers was terrific.

Thought for sure they would talk about Ezri Dax, but all in all, Whispers was a great episode. Well, all of SGA were great episodes.

I didn't realize Janina Gavankar was in that episode. 😮
@andrewmalinowski66733 сағат бұрын
I forgot Janina was in SGA until reading an articl in Sci-Fi Magazine when she was being interviewed about her role in "Sleepy Hollow" (Fox series) and she mentioned doing voice work for Star Wars Battlefront. Reminded she was in Star Wars Battlefront when seeing a clip while at Disneyland and seeing the plans for the (at the time) upcoming Galaxy's Edge attraction

I loved SGA. I could not get into SGU even with it's production values. It was just a bit too dark. Not that I need heroes and happy endings every time but I sure as hell would've preferred more SGA than any SGU. This episode proves my point. I thought of SGA as family and SGU as those uncomfortable relatives at Christmas.

Agreed. I gave up on SGU, I just didn't care enough about the Characters the way I did for the guys in SG1 and SGA.

Agree also, although I finally forced myself to get into it.

I loved atlantis it was fantastic to to cancel it for the universe, was a disaster
@JohnSheppard92WasTakenThxYT16 сағат бұрын
it was never canceled "for universe", they just really fucked up their marketing and make it seem like it, which ultimately was a big reason why universe didn't do as well as it should have
