Thank you for sharing these books. I love the consistency of the theme. It keeps the reader grounded, and it is wonderful to give experiences of closure. I think it's difficult to put time control into any story. But Groundhog Day is one of our favorite movies. In Los Angeles I had an opportunity to see a new play called Ophelia, written by Stephan Marks, at the Odessy Theater. It's still on through May 18, 2024. One character has a time machine, like a tennis ball sized thing. The holder of the ball can send everyone else back a few seconds. The actors moving back in time/space have choreographed emotional movements to the scene. It was used very well, and a great production. Anyway, just sharing, I just completed my first major play, and and I'm waiting for notes from a very trusted, experienced friend. And after another pass through, I'll be sending my second major play that consists of 7 one act plays. It's been a very cool journey over the bas six months. And of course I've more waiting in the wings. All of this is new and I have some wonderful mentors. Maybe a novel is in the future as well. But it won't be very thick. I don't have the patience for anything over 120 pages. LOL

This is wonderful news! I'm so glad you're keeping at it and doing the thing(s)! I hear you, plays I have the patience for, but in writing straight narrative, short stories are where it's at. I love well-crafted time travel. Have you by chance seen the Japanese film Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes? It's on Prime, or was the last I looked. It's about a cafe owner who finds his TV shows images from the future, but only from two minutes ahead. An extremely well done idea which must have required multiple spreadsheets and charts and goodness knows what else!

There is, but it isn't out in the States yet 😔. It hasn't been hyped much either, I only found just out about it when doing research for this video. Can't wait to read it, though!
