There is an ocean of difference between the 1943 and the 1949 Batman and Robin series. The 1949 series is actually watchable.

Another show portraying people playing dress up in silly costumes to fight crime as being gritty and serious. The only proper Bat Man was the Adam West and Burt Ward version, which was hilarious.
