Mark Van Stone explores the evolution from ancient hieroglyphics to emojis.
From his earliest years, Dr. Van Stone was self-taught, ravenously devouring any book he could find. Earning a degree in Physics from Oxford, he initially worked in Gamma Ray astronomy. Then, studying calligraphy for the next 20 years, he became the recognized expert on Paleography. So great to hear & see MVS. Many lifetimes ago Mark’s work in NH really caught my eye. So, as an art major I began self learning by copying different scribe styles. But I really always felt his was the touchstone for me and the work I went on to produce. Thanks Mark✍🏼🥳😕🥰
