Indeed the contribution of Charles Sanders Peirce to epistemology and logic is often forgotten. Russel had a very high opinion of Peirce's work.

I see comments have been turned off on the David Shanks you tube. It raises issues about research that need to be discussed. I see a common misconception there where they don't appear to realise they are there to be academics not doctors. They should be above trying to play doctor with those mathematical algorithms. Where are the academics? All I see is doctors.
