Really love that you actually put full commercials in here, WatchMojo would show like two seconds of each commercial with annoying voice-over saying some random bullshit.

How could you bring up Seth Green in this list and while discussing his career not mention that he appeared in Marky Mark's Sega CD game?

Cloak and Dagger with henry thomas counts as one big video game commercial. Man, did brian cranston ever look young? QOTD, out of those the paul rudd commercial since it made me want to hijack my local drive in.

Another name that should be mentioned here is the late Tony Jay. Best know for voicing Judge Frollo, he narrates the SNES commercial with Paul Rudd.

In addition to everything else Phil Hartman was doing in the 80s, he had already had a career designing iconic album covers in the 70s, like Steely Dan's Aja, for instance.

Considering how young most of the Not Ready For Prime Time players were when they got cast at Saturday Night Live, it's legitimately surprising that Phil Hartman didn't show up until he was 38. He had not only been on other shows, but, as you point out, had a completely different career as a visual designer. He was the oldest cast member every single year between 1986 and 1994. Phil Hartman truly led a fascinating life. A legend.

Wow, when you showed that ad in the Atari Lynx video a couple of days ago, didn't realize that was a young Peter Parker. 😉 However, the Mega Force ad was the one that made me pause the video, walk over to my computer, click on MAME to see if I have it, which BTW, it does, so think I'll answer the question with the Mega Force one as it did it's job in selling me on it. 😉

QOTD: As much as I loved Rik Mayall in the SNES adverts, I have to go with my man Peter Winfield in the UK Sega Cyber Razor Cut ads. They also featured Mayall's Bottom and Young One's alumni, Steven O'Donnell.

It's interesting the Pitfall ad has a wide age / gender range of people talking about the game. These were fun to watch though. Nice idea.

I was waiting to see the Robin Williams commercials for The Legend of Zelda. I guess those will be in the next video.

He was already famous by the time he starred in video game commercials. I wanted to keep this episode to just actors who were basically unknown when they were in video game commercials.
