Es mas facil de lo que lo es en madera, puedes usar cualquier parte de la pared para los tornillos y el anclaje, es mucho mas solido que en paredes de madera. Lo importante el usar un roto martillo.
@YuProducciones

It appears from the video that the two "upper" shelves in the cabinet are supported by 2x4's on 3 sides. But it appears you only supported the bottom "shelf" of the cabinet by screwing up into the 2x4's across the back and on the left side, and only into the end of the plywood on the right side? Being that the bottom shelf would presumably hold the heaviest items, I would think it might need more support than just the screws? They look good though. Thanks for the video!

Thank you! I wasn't planning to put anything heavy in this cabinet.
@heidis8713

I agree. Even when putting up a shelf inside to hold a small decorative item, I still put it in the stud incase someone else uses it for something heavier in the future. This is a nice video and build.

How did you measure the space between each door at the 3:48 minute mark. I always struggle with this part.
@hesswoodwork
@hesswoodwork Жыл бұрын
I make the spaces first, then make the doors based off of the opening measurements. Most times, I make my doors 1 inch bigger than the opening, so it will be 1/2 inch bigger on each side. Does that make sense?

Quick question. Were you not worried about screwing into studs? The portions that screw to the wall that equate for the depth of the cabinet as well as the vertical runners is it OK if they’re just screwed into the sheet rock?
@therestorationshop
@therestorationshop Жыл бұрын
I believe he locates the stud on one side and then marked the wall for all the other studs based on the stud center-to-center distance. The screws must go into the studs, the sheetrock will not support any significant weight.
