I too have a BMW E30 Convertible and I love it. I think fixing things on these are just part of the experience of owning an old car and you sort to have to expect it. Think about buying an old house, it’s going to show its age and things are going to need fixing eventually. I must admit, it does get a lot of attention when out and about driving.

I traded a sand rail for a very clean looking, 20 yard, 2002 BMW vert. I did NOT get a good deal. It had a host of issues. I'm not a huge Beemer fan but yours is a nice looking car. I owned a 1985, 2 door hard top in West Germany when I lived there in the 80s. I did like my Mercedes 280S more though. It handled better and had more power on the autobahn. Man, I love that steering wheel though. So classic looking.

I don’t think these came with arm rests like that, my 1992 e30 vert didn’t come with one. The one you have seems like a previous owner tried to rig a later bmw model arm rest to the car.

That's what I'm thinking too man. Thanks for sharing cause I really have been stumped lol

@@LJsGarage I saw yours and thought “holy crap where do I get mine?” After looking into it I couldn’t find anything factory like that for e30s. The really expensive husco arm rests that dealers would install is the only thing I could find. Nice e30 vert!
