Hi Mike, it’s Nacho from Spain. I wrote to support. They have answered to me. They say the following: no external Mic for Feiyu pocket 3, if you work with the cam separately from the handle, the sound is collected by the cam. If you work both the camera and the handle, the sound is collected by the handle… I think you are having these troubles because you plugged a wireless microphone to your mobile and the app does not work.

Using the wireless lav mic I recorded it into a stand-alone app and synced everything post. The quality of each device is factory quality. I did try to use the wireless mic with the device and it recorded no sound. The wireless mic does have some static here and there; I'm sure that's because I didn't put the phone in airplane mode first.

So I like the camera the problem I'm having is on playback I can hear a clicking sound from using the mode button. So I'm thinking maybe the mic button is picking up the sound when I use the mode button. Looking for help here

I would use the app if the clicking is getting in the way. But you can edit out the clicks in most video editors. I use Power Director, and I can get rid of those sounds. I guess I don't notice them because when I edit out my "ums," I get the clicks out, too.

Any update on the Feiyu 3? Has it gotten better?

Yes and no, I've resolved to use them for recording family functions like dinner talk with the grandparents. I use them to record some driving off-road. As much as I like them, the application has left me wanting more than they offer.

Truth.. if they make it any more sensitive it will think everything is a face .. then it will get embarrassed and shut down because everything is looking at it !
