I love this deck, have had it for several months. I love the artistic integrity, the poetry of images and words, the crone vibes, the evocative key words and the earthy intelligence of this deck. I like the card stock much more than Forhaxa card stock. It’s very flexible, but sturdy and I do riffle shuffle it. I like to pair it with my Somnia deck which feels very masculine mystic to me and my Lilifer deck which has a very feminine, playful and imaginative child-like spirit to it. I love all the above mentioned decks except the Forhaxa deck. For me, the Forhaxa deck concept is great but the art work is both flat and busy, as well a having a garish color palette. Thanks for this wonderful video; appreciate your thoughts on this truly remarkable deck.

Wow! I think it would be an intense ride to pair this with the somnia tarot. Frankly that's a deck that I have just been unable to connect with. There are cards that really blow me away but for the most part I find myself scratching my head. I wish I had bought the book...

Thank you for this, but the photo on the Tower looks very suspisciously like the actual photo of the person falling from one of the twin towers after the attack - if it is, I personally find that very offensive (eg, how would someone that had any sort of loss from that feel seeing that card) - so... absolute instant lightning quick "no" from me! However, I love that you did this as it's a very popular deck and I've often considered getting it. Thank you for saving me!

Totally agree with you. So offensive and disrespectful. Bought the deck without seeing that detail wich really shocked me when I finally received the deck and watched it closely. This deck is a mere beauty but...that Tower card nearly ruins it all according to me.

I can understand and see your perspective. At the same time, I can recognize that we cannot erase these tragic events from our memory, our history and our consciousness… and we shouldn’t have to. We should honor and recognize them… not store them in the closet. These events are just as much a part of the fabric of our humanity is as any other depiction. I see ads of dead kids parents asking people to vote and fund causes to remove guns or fight cancer… would it be apt to tell them to stop talking about it, bringing it up and making money off of it because it is tragic and a reminder of what happened? While painful for some it is also healing for those who don’t want to forget the last day or time they saw their loved ones. They don’t want their loved ones to disappear with that day and that event because to some, the soul still lives on. Despite what some people personally shame out of disgust some want to remember and memorialize.

@@grumpyschnauzer funding cancer or removing guns is one thing, making money off of someone's relative's portrayed process of undergoing a horrific death - a terribly intimate moment which to my mind if viewed by anyone should be the relatives only unless they choose otherwise - for the sake of private, frivolous gain (a tarot deck) is quite another IMHO
