This fragrance gives me compliments every time I wear it. I tried sedley a few times and it's similar but it has it's own personality. Sedley is more minty and bright in the opening, like a sprite freshness feeling. I can't remember the drydown but I know was sexy and could feel the quality, very well rounded. On the other hand, the opening of legacy I feel a strong lemon peel and a little mint behind with very clear ambroxan, metalic smell. In the notes pineapple is listed which I think is a bitter pineapple because I don't feel nothing sweet in the fragrance. After 30 minutes I still feel the lemon but more subtle, I get more the mint but nothing super crazy, some black pepper something kinda green which could be the oak moss or vetiver. I don't know a lot so I could be missing something but that's my feeling. It's 100% worth it, it lasts me for 5 hours working outdoors in a 80°+ temperature, great projection and sillage. For 30 bucks this is a no brainer and blind buy for sure.

I received mine today. It's awesome! super fresh. Thanks for the review. I think this is Lattafa's take on PDM Sedley's DNA, which I haven't smelled but smelled clones of it. The note breakdown is very similar.

Just picked this up about a month ago and really think it’s quite excellent. I did a good five sprays my first time wearing it and I swear… It lasted for at least 10 hours… Very strong, especially for a freshie. Super vibrant and great use of citrus. Really love the slightly quirky bottle even though it is a bit of a fingerprint magnet. Nice weight to it for sure. Got mine for about $32 Canadian or about $25US

Decided to revisit this after not wearing it for a good long time. Love the spearmint feel about it with the lime. Gives me a freshie feeling. Has a great feel to it when i wear it. I am wearing it in Autumn but still. Works. Thanks for review.

I have both Lattafa Maahir and Lattafa Maahir Black. I read a comment somewhere that if Darth Vader wore a cologne it would be the Black. Ha ha. I like how dark, spicy and smoky it is but it's still very wearable and not as extreme as people make it out to be. The other Maahir shares the same DNA to me, just minus the smoke so you smell more of vanilla, woods and florals. It's definitely unisex and could be worn by anybody. Both have beast mode performance and last all day. Great fragrances, especially for the beautiful bottles and the price! I will definitely check out the new silver edition with spring and summer coming up!!

Will you try Al Qiam Silver from the pride line? It’s a citrusy fragrance (it’s close to Bulgari Tygar and Afnan Turathi Blue). I see you tried the Gold version but here is a tip: in Islam wearing gold is forbidden for men and only allowed for women, so when you see that a fragrance has a Gold and a Silver version, usually the Gold is likely to be a feminine scent and the Silver is probably a more Masculine one. It’s not a rule, just a hint.

Im more into the heavy/unique scents, but my favorite citrus style fragrence is Montblanc Starwalker. The bamboo in it is so relaxing and chill. Second favorite would have to be good ol' YSL Y EDT. Those two dont have that (to me) obnoxious style of ambroxan. I couldnt stand Ejazzi because it has that type of ambroxan. Its overwhelming for me and gives me a headache. I gave it away. I like Sedley, but its too expensive, so Maahir Silver may be a good replacement.

2:19 "Your boy, Post Cologne....handsome face..." LOL! Anyway, I didn't know that Mercedes Benz discontinued their MB "basic" (I don't know what else to call it). I purchased a 100ml bottle of that about a year ago and it has earned a spot in my collection as one of the most underrated cheapie fragrances of all time. I love it...don't know what it is about it, but it hits the mark for me.

Yeah, Maahir Legacy has dropped to around $30 now. Will be getting a decant of this soon. Thinking about getting this instead of Hawas. Both the OG and Ice are still overpriced, IMO

Appreciate the review! As you mentioned, I think I'll wait for the price to drop. Although, $38 ain't a bad price! I live in Az and lean on fresh (citrus) style frags heavily... A few of my favorite citrus-style frags are: Dior Homme D&G Light Blue Forever CDN Milestone L'eau D'issey Pour Homme Missoni Wave is a banger, but the sweetness in the dry-down in really high heat can be a bit cloying... IMO.

Maybe a little more alcohol in the first minute, but I wouldn't call maahir "budget smelling" I think quality is good. Pride line for the most part is probably a bit better, but not leaps ahead

Supremacy in heaven is good, the opening is a little challenging, I think because of the black tea or green tea. The dry down is amazing. Recently got a sample of the OG and I like supremacy a lot more. It's a bit sweeter, I don't get that melon note from the OG.

It depends on what you want.. Supremacy in Heaven is a good clone/inspiration of Creed Silver Mountain Water.. if you like Creed SMW you will like this.. Now Turathi Blue is a good if not great Bvlgari Tygar clone.. a blue type of fragrance. And Modest Une a clone of Dior Sauvage. Choose your poison!

@@TheBodyguard68 Yes thanks for clarifying but I know the clone situation, I don't really know all the OGs (haven't smelt SMW and Tygar) so I dont know what to expect; but judging from the notes I think I should not have a problem anyway. The performance on the other hand is something I am always skeptical about and wanted to clarify the same, for the fragrance itself all the 3 seem good to me.

i dont understand how yall are getting 5 hours this stuff last 10-12 hours the first time i tried this stuff, after i sprayed it like an hour or so later i sprayed ultra male on my other hand and i woke up in the middle of the night and ultra male was completely gone and maahir legacy was still on me.
