I think the Min and Rec configs listed are just regarding Xbox S and X equivalent settings/performance. I don't think they're telling use what it takes to run on 4K60 Max. We'll see, and then there's also optimization in general and the FSR implementation. I have 3080/9700k

Im a bit worried about my CPU and RAM combo coming into starfield. Ive got a 5700x w/ 16gb 3600mhz ddr4 ram - paired with a 6800xt. Do you think ill be able to get 4k60?

Its a bit hard to give you a definite answer, youll be able to do 4k for sure, a stable 60 is the question, we wont be able to answer that until the games is in our hands.

You will get 4k but 60fps yes but not stable it will drop to the low 50's in loaded environment

Ryzen 5700g, 16gb 3200mhz Ram and an Nvidia 3070ti.. I have a Ryzen 5800x3d beside my PC to be installed when I get a chance. 1440p 60fps and I'll be happy. We'll see soon how I fair.

i5 10400f RX AMD 5700 XT Can I run 1080p 50-60 fps on medium or high? And I was thinking about getting a 6700XT in the next couple days. Would my processor need upgrading too or is it good if I upgrade my graphics card to that? Thanks fellas

According to the listed spec you will struggle to get 60 FPS on high settings. You will have a slight bottleneck with the cpu and gpu combo. You could look at an 11th gen I7 and keep the same motherboard.

I upgraded to a 2070 graphics card for Starfield. My PC is about 3/4 of the way between minimum and recommended, so I think I'll be OK.

What do you think about meeting all of the hardware requirement minimum specs using a laptop, with the exception of the GPU being NVIDIA GTX 1650 ti? I understand it is significantly lower in power compared to the minimum recommended GPU, but also have never really gamed on PC so don’t have the experience of playing past titles and having much for comparison.

You can not play this on an HDD, Ssds are cheap though, grab one and watch our video on how to install

You can play starfield on. Hdd. Some people already tested it. It will have longer loading and textures popping probably.

The Steam page for Starfield lists the system requirements in order to play the game and an additional note states "SSD Required." . You could possibly try on an HDD but it would be an unplayable experience
