@@tmenacet5350 an audio effect that lowers the volume of the "S" sound in someone's speaking voice. Basically it takes the frequencies in the audio where there is a harsh S and smooths out the sound so it's easier to listen to. It's common for sound engineers to use them.

You use the D-pad to change the size of structures btw

It depends on whether or not that structure has other size variations. Some have only one. So, in the build mode under the structure icon you would see "1/7" which means that there are 7 variations (looks or sizes) of that structure. And yes, this would be where you'd use the d-pad to see the size changes.

Open the main menu, select your ship in the lower left, there you will see an option "Crew" (the letter C on PC). Now you can assign all members.
