I have a ton of modded devices that can do everything this console can do and more. However, they are prized possessions and I would feel more comfortable taking this with me as a go to/day to day device that I don't have to worry about breaking. Playing PSP with 2 analog sticks would be nice too.

MHFU uses dpad for camera, not the shoulders. But yeah, having the 2nd analog stick is an easy rebind and a better MHFU/P3G experience. Also not the first Monster Hunter, but definitely a lot of Hunters' first Monster Hunter. MHFU is the Grank/Master Rank version of the 2nd gen portable. :) Great vid by the way... I have a retroid pocket 3+ and a steam deck, but um picking this up for its size and 4:3 aspect ratio.

I'm glad you talked about size of this handheld (you are one of the few). Question : first I would like to buy the RG35xxplus because I prefer vertical devices. But I'm 1.96m and I have proportionally (big) hands. So I was afraid it is too short for me (too much discomfort with time). But I thought it will be better in horizontal... I got the miyoo mini and it's super cute, but it's super uncomfortable to play with anything that use triggers. Like some GBA and most PS1 games. An horizontal device is probably the best for me.

not this one. triggers are less comfortable to use than the vertical rg35xx Plus. Avoid squares and rectangles at all costs. Your best bet is probably to just hack CFW onto a Switch Lite.

I just get my rg35xx H yesterday. It was marvelous at first all about the console is good... till i remove the sd card (for checking i guess) and put them back on. And after that only anbernic logo appeared. I think it just a small error therefore i check the internet if i can fix it .and then i found out about the hard way of fixing it... advice for those who want this console.. please do a little search about this first tho❤

It's not that hard, is just paste a folder on a program to flash a SD card. It looks hard, but is actually pretty easy, just follow a guide and you're cool

​@@grim0sThe hardware is excellent for the price, it's the stock SD cards they come with that are notoriously bad. If you're interested in owning one and want to upload your own collection of roms, you may as well look into flashing an OS to an SD card (SanDisk or Samsung are the safest bets) yourself. It's easy and it's actually pretty rewarding.

Make sure you either copy the data from the stock sd card and onto a new one or take it out in between charging. My sd card got corrupt in-between charging the system.

@@calebwooldridge242 I thought this meant you could map combinations such L1 + a direction on the analog stick for games that let you hold L1 to pan the camera like the prince of persia series, but it does not. You can map one button the a combination, but you can't press one button or direction on the joypad to represent a combination. This only works if your game uses the face buttons for camera so you just map the face buttons to the right analog stick.

I also have big hands, and I find my old 351P quite uncomfortable to play for longer than 20 minutes. How would you compare them regarding size and comfort? I mean, my hands really start to hurt after 30 minutes of playing the 351P, and if I play it many days in a row, it starts hurting even when I'm not playing at all. It actually makes me play waaay less than I wanted to. I'm considering the RG35XX H over the regular vertical version only because of the analog sticks, but my problems with its predecessor make me uncertain about it.

they come with some games preloaded, but id recommend loading your own if you have some. Id also recommend moving off the stock OS if you are technically savvy and can do that kind of thing. If not then the stock OS and games it comes with are great. Hope this helps!

Probably depends on the game. Don't think playing something like the kirby rainbow game would be ideal without a proper touchscreen but for games that use more sparingly could be fine.
