DESCRIPTION
This 43 mm Worldtimer model includes a polished case in stainless steel which is integrated with the structured blue rubber strap via a solid polished link.
The exterior section of the dial is sun-brushed blue and includes vertical teak stripes and a circle of global destinations printed in red (GMT), silvery (+1h in summer) and blue (places without daylight savings).
The centre of the dial contains a 24-hour glass ring, with light blue to indicate daytime and dark blue to indicate night. The vision of Earth is created on a grade 5 titanium plate. This has been laser-ablated to create the blue ocean, leaving a relief of the continents. The contrasting colours of the Earth’s surface are obtained naturally by the laser’s chemical reaction.
Inside, the Worldtimer is driven by the Master Chronometer Calibre 8938.

Great looking watch, I can vouch for the rubber strap as that’s what I have with my AT. Looks like the WT function is actually pretty useful. Thanks for the detail in the review. Positively brilliant design. Too much size and polish for me but I'll always admire it. Minor practicality lost, too, since you need to keep up with what date a city switches to Daylight Savings. But we don't wear $9k mechanical wrist jewelry just for practicality.

Like most people, I love the watch. Combines my love for travel and watches. I do find the numbers on the inner dial for daytime to be almost impossible to read. Not enough contrast . Same with the city names that do not have DST. Also, bear in mind that India, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka are on the half hour from GMT instead of a full hour

I am strongly considering this watch, but one thing that really pisses me off is the lume. It is really imbalanced. You have no lume at all on the minute hand, save for the tip, and then the hour hand can be a tad wider and use just a bit more lume on it.

Hi Delta, it could be better then most stocks right now! But we always say that don't buy a watch specifically as an investment --- buy it to wear and enjoy it, and in this case pass it down as an heirloom since it will last.

The biggest thing deterring me about omega for years and years now is the vast majority of their models are with large cases. They really don't have anything interesting in the 38mm and under case size

This thick watch is not a real automatic worldtimer. You can can fully sync your phone photo library to your computer, but you have to manually drag and drop monthly sets of photos, just like this watch. This watch is not a real world timer!!!!!

I disagree on the diameter you request. I have an 8 and 1/2 inch wrist and I don't have a lot of meat on my bones in the wrist area. So the bigger the better
