He is only worth it at E1. His E0 damage amp is only slightly better than pela. E1 bumps him to 80% and only increase is E6 which goes to 125-ish. Only worth if you desperately need dot+debuff unit. He has no follow up synergy either.

My favourite thing about hsr is the endgame modes being very uniquely designed to have different characters be good in them. Genshin is Just abyss that could have any type of combat content, aoe (groupable and ungroupable) vs single target, multi wave vs one wave etc all is in one mode. In hsr there’s specific modes for specific strengths, that still have cycles favoured for some characters more than others to keep it fre

Vulnerability might be a great contributor to damage but unless your DPS benefits from the ultimate portion then JQ has too strong of competition with the multipurpose Harmony units. Like when using Tingyun her bigger asset is the energy not the damage buffs, Robin the team adv, Sparkle SP+ADV. JQ will definitely be the best sustainless support generically but that seems to be a tough sell with newer harder bosses on what was already a niche demographic.

It depends on who you already have and who you’re looking forward to getting, since if you’re more excited for 2.5, and are happy with your roaster of supportive characters, then I feel like it’s ultimately up to who you want to pull.

My favorite part of the game is how F2P friendly it is. I’ve only gotten one Welkin when I was a little desperate to get Ruan Mei’s light cone, otherwise I haven’t had to spend money to get the characters I want. Good and cool free units like Harmony MC, Gallagher, Xueyi, and recently Hunt March have really made me feel like I have a wide variety of teams available despite only pulling for 5 characters so far.

I think a really underrated aspect of using Jiaoqiu with Acheron is how your preservation character can use their signature and not be stuck with trend

I honestly think he's one of the better pulls I dont have a Kafka dot team nor an acheron team (but will be pulling in the future) and Jiaoqiu will be part of the teams I will use to put them together - I plainly dont like Pela so I won't use her with acheron, and my ruan mei is always preoccupied with either my firefly or boothill Jiaoqiu slots in incredibly nicely with 2 of the (I'd say) top 3 team comps in the game, and despite his nerfs from leaks, he's honestly still a phenomenal unit

One of my favorite things about HSR is the ability to put things on auto battling. XD Seriously I have way too many games I enjoy playing and knowing I can do my daily grinding without needing to put my 100% into it so I can multitask in another game is amazing. If I couldn't auto battle my daily grinding I'd be nowhere near as far along as I am now because I only have so much time in a day to do all the things I want to do. As for Jiaoqiu I lost my 50/50 on Argenti to a now e3 Welt so I'm guaranteed to get the pretty Foxian man at least now. I will be getting him for sure!

I have Acheron but I haven’t been able to get her to be good so far. It’s probably a skill issue but when everyone said how great she was I found her to be really underwhelming in practice. So time to throw good money after bad and invest in Jiaoqiu to give her team a boost. I won’t make the same mistake twice though so I’ll be skipping wind Acheron in the next patch.

I've played so many gacha and hero collecting "mobile" oriented games. HSR is hands down my favorite (although Swords of Convallaria is getting close). HSR is the one game that really does let you build teams however you want. Some other games say you HAVE to play certain characters with specific others or fail. That's largely not the case in HSR, and it feels great. Swapping 1 or two may break the synergy, but unless you're doing some wild changes, lots of f2p and premium options fit together. Def pulling Jaioqiu, I have to for Acheron. Unfortunately, I pulled and won the 50/50 on Huohuo AND got her LC so... we got enough for another 50/50 lol

I gotta say- I wasn’t tryna pull for him- but after accidentally 1 tapping, I built him, and I used him on my DoT team (BS/Kafka) and Acheron team/ and I’m GIDDY! the damage is absolutely Amazing! My two main teams are black swan DOT (E2/L1) and Acheron (LC) And having him adds flexibility and so much damage potential to my teams(even my firefly team) I’m thoroughly impressed by him- I have other characters but the ease of use that he has is probably UNMATCHED by my other harmony units on a DoT/acheron team

Sunday ♥︎ I really want Jiaoqiu so I'll probably get him and his light cone; plus there's really a male character shortage so I feel the need to pull lol. the 2.5 characters are cool in the story but I can resist at least until reruns. I just wish Jiaoqiu had healing in his kit somewhere. Every time you talk to the dude he reminds you how food and medicine are related and this and that so NO healing in his kit, when we already have things like that one SU blessing, somehow feels wrong. He is a obvious pick for me. I started playing when Acheron was the banner and unfortunately I listen to friends on discord at the time and rolled for Luocha instead of her Light Icon. Was limited Nihility characters except for e6 Pela since she was also on the banner. Got the freebie from the Mixing quest in Penacony and chose Guinaifen but she is e0. Been using robin since I got her but she cant build stacks for Acheron. So having Jiaoqiu replace her and fight along side Pela, Ghallagher, and Acheron will be fun.

Trend LC on a Preservation unit is kind of redundant with JQ on Acheron teams, as the Ult Ashen Roast proc a Stack, which prevents Trend from gaining Stacks when it Triggers its counter burn, as Acheron Ult Stacks has a limit of 1 per enemy turn.

Hi! I just tested this :) I can clarify it based on my testings. It works if it’s an elite enemy as they take two actions. So the first action they’ll be inflicted with ashen roast. For the second action, if they hit the trend market unit and get burned it’ll actually give a stack as well! Effectively giving Acheron two stacks total.

He's insane for Acheron. Especially for e0 havers because the amount of stacks he provides will make it up. Plus vulnerability is a really debuff because it has the same dmg multiplier as def shred except it scales 1:1 and caps at 250%. It probably be worth it to run e0 Acheron + Jiaoqiu with a powerful harmony unit like Robin for example. Planning to pull for e0s1 Jiaoqiu for my Acheron team!

I think my favorite thing in HSR has to be the story, despite a lot of plot holes in it. I’m a big nerd so having tons of things to feel out and theorize is my jam; and HSR provides plenty for me and my friends to theorize and debate over. Like an example would be that at the end of the 2.1 story where FF was revealed to be Sam, me and my friends theorized and debated on what the deal was and how her kit would work if she was a playable character (this was obviously before they announced that she would be).

Since, I want to go for a Acheron Team for the Edgame Content, I still need Acheron, too. So, Jiaoqiu is the best Choice for me. Only hope that Acheron's Rerun is later than 2.5. Because, Idk if I can win the 50-50 a third time and have to get him with the Guarantee. I won the 50-50 on Ruan Mei and Firefly, so I hope Luck will be on my Side again.

Jiaoqiu is on the fence for me. I would say he can give Acheron teams more longevity in pure fiction (especially with the DOT version.) But I'm going all in on Feixiao and AOE followups, I just so happen to have a really solid Aventurine build that I want him to use so I'll pull for him too 👏

Favourite thing about HSR is how the writers broke the timeline with each update. The timeline either got retconned or the writers just lied to our face. Quite impressive. I'm waiting for Amphoreus to completely broke the timeline and time just stop and the HSR universe doesn't have time anymore

That’s fair! I always recommend checking out showcases/how the character seems to preform afterwards. Since he’s 2nd half, I’d actually recommend waiting until the live stream to see next patch’s reruns as well as more information on the new 5 star kits.

People call him a weaker in certain scenarios than pela…. But how about an acheron/jiaoqiu/pela/healer team? Then you have them both. I think it’s pretty justifiable as she can use 2 nihility characters on the team. And if enemies are already electro weak, no need for silverwolf.

im so stuck i have e2 Acheron so Jiaoqiu may be my best option for the nihility role, but i love feixiao's design and the look of her combat style even tho my teams for her are lacking since i dont own robin or adventurine. and then linghsa looks amazing too for my e2 firefly team. i pooled my jades and got lucky in firefly and Acheron. but i dont know who to go for.

If your Acheron is E2 and you have Sparkle + Pela then you don’t exactly need Jiao. The way i see it he is a big improvement for E0 acheron teams but you can always wait for a rerun. Feixiao is tricky this time cause if people doesn’t have premium FuA characters or at the very least robin then her performance won’t be as good….

One important fact thatthis video didn't mention is that the lightcone universal market trend doesn't work with Jiaoqiu because Acheron can't get 2 stacks in one action (the debuff in the enemy turn gives already one stack so the debuff from the lightcone don´t).

Hi! I just tested this :) I can clarify it based on my testings. It works if it’s an elite enemy as they take two actions. So the first action they’ll be inflicted with ashen roast. For the second action, if they hit the trend market unit and get burned it’ll actually give a stack as well! Effectively giving Acheron two stacks total.

@@Moonnverse Hi! I was aware of the possibility but still I have my doubts of the consistency of the lightcone. What if the elite unit attacks the wearer of the lightcone in both actions? The debuff of trend is already applied in the first action so is possible that the reaplication don't gives another stack, right? (resolution shines like pearls of sweat don't give any stack if you use ult + basic instead basic + ult with Pela because of the debuff being already applied)

I would like to be able to use both things but having an elite enemy that attacks the wearer of trend only in the 2nd action sounds really situational at least to the point is easier to just use a Gallagher with good energy recharge + the 3 star lightcone.

@@kevinmolina2878 hmm the testing is really weird, sometimes it works (burn twice two stacks regardless) for action 1 and action 2 of the elite. I’m starting to think it’s an effect hit rate issue LOL I’ll have a firm answer once I can upload a showcase and do more tests. I think with trend it’s more like reapplying the burn, so I suppose it works?
