for me, new characters are basically all the same these days. they all have their bosses that get rotated in and out. therefore ones that are farmable like sp or al are no brainers, basically cheaper characters that will ultimately have the same amount of bosses as full gacha characters anyway

Agree, the game is forcing me to jump to nirvana to agony 3, cause ive lost the motivation, meta use to be something u could keep at least over 6 months or more, now its like er wont work if u dont have current valks or new bosses only for current gacha valks and everything is whale to the extreme, so im doing the less possible to complete the básic, i will mové to SR as f2p ofcourse and hi3rd just to do weekly task for fun, no more gacha or spending money

That's definitely a great way to go about doing it. But there certainly are battlesuits that can do more bosses than others. There are also battlesuits that did less bosses, like Disciplinary Perdition, or even Darkbolt Jonin from way back. I think finding the character that's not only the first choice for their specific bosses, but also the 2nd choice for others is where the value is at.

yea it can also depend on how much hyv want to shill something. but still, saving basically 28k xtals for a dps seems good to me. and as you said, being qua and phys seems like a lot of versatility and bang for your buck. the only downside is we need to get cez m and new stigs for hos. still cheaper. especially with how hard they went releasing hotr and hofin back to back; I didn't even get time to pull hoh gear before she got put on the backburner. pulling can be pretty annoying in this game with these short valk life cycles.

Susannah needs a whole new type of support stigs, so for someone like me that does not have any of the physical supports, I think its also not worth going for susannah because on top of you basically ditching HoS SSwords you need to pull like holmes or another aladdin set which maybe more than the usual SP gearing budget you may or may not have.

Just Theresa Glut T Mei Beach M Newt B all farmable, if you have Zaychik Stigma (hotr stig) it would be good as well for HoS to support Susannah better than holmes, I 800+ pts Nirvana with it and with Susannah at S rank only.

@@hephaee fair i heard those suggestion too but i cant speak for others so i'll use my situation instead, i skipped cez gears too except ele teams which have good gear, leaving my phys teams with virtually no gear lol. So even in the case that i do have zaychik, and the other staples like newt b, mei m, glut t, i also am required to pull aladdin for susannah at least. unless they actually keep bleed weathers often outside of this patch, i'd only be compelled by then to get susannah gears.

I’m not pulling either tbh. I’ve neglected physical for so long (only got 3/4 hos that I don’t use) so I’m only pulling prome gear then saving for the alleged Seele battlesuit. Not sure when I’ll build physical but I haven’t got griseo gear or Holmes so I’m not bothering with Susan. As for hare I never cared for her in the story so the hype is lost in me lul. Hoping Seeles new battlesuit is a quantum physical dps not a hos powercreep but if she’s neither I’m most likely skipping her too (unless she’s quantum cause I still need to build something in that category too)

Was unsure but decided to pull for her last week and haven’t regretted it. Hare seems fine but PE, MPE, TP and VQ are from what I’ve seen competitive enough on her bosses to make her not feel like a great investment for f2ps. I’ll probably just go for SP valks until the herrscher (if they’ll even release a herrscher bc plot, anyway it’ll probably be a strong valk) of the year drops. Plus, Susannah is adorable.

Prop to MG for giving out good information, as an actual nirvana player, I can suggest player to just pull Susannah and you will not regret it, the valk itself is so meta and cheap and the HoS stig to support Susannah is also cheap and there are many options to choose from (Glut Mei Newt, Zaychik TB Paganini M, Holmes). Not only that in the future there might be a better physical support that made her shine even better.

I have been too pressed on following meta last year, I got burned so now I have my personal opinion of getting at least the weapon so I can enjoy the character, I have never been so happy now.

The issue is that Mihoyo is kind of misleading with the BETA's, it is a rule of life that F2P characters never will be strongers than gacha ones and the few times it has happened, like in Liliya's case the CN community force Mihoyo to nerf her to oblivion.

@@animeturnMMD you can actually strategize how you spend crystals over time with analysis into the strats lol, there are alternatives for bosses that you don't have to follow the meta every single time (maybe except for SSS pishacha but since the meta is susannah it's out of question) the thing is if you arent trying to go red lotus/nirvana or get top 2% and above in MA it's just not necessary to follow and liliya's nerf was literally back in 2019, for all the betas there's v1 v2 and most of the time v3, idk what you're cracking or just not following it at all, but it has stayed consistent for at least 2 years since i started playing so i really don't see what you're complaining about

I would've tried to save pulls as much as possible for Hare... But I struggle heavily in Quantum and phy weathers 🤧 And also I would spend some pulls for Prom cuz discount banner. Either way I don't believe I can get a copy of Dreamweaver... So I let her stay in my dreams alone 🤧

yeahhhhhhhhh but if i skipped susan i should have enough crystal to complete the herrscher trio( i only need hofin) and since my account is 1 year+(i dont have a fire dps at all) and im starting to pogo between nirvana and redlotus i feel like getting herrscher trio should be my current priority susan is strong enough at 0/4 on red lotus anyway(i havent had a problem with using purana+raksha dirac on her)

I give you my solution, go to Agony 3, do Er abstinence and hit the necessary to catch Ma rewards and thats it, you wont need to worry bout gacha cause u wont need crystals anyway, this way u r free to catch the valks u want and set whatever u have. Im totally free, 0 money spent in this patch and ofcourse in the upcoming too. Gonna play SR as f2p and Hasta la vista baby!

the reason Susannah gear is seen as worth is BECAUSE ppl dont have the crystals Her gear is far far cheaper than most He's not saying you have to pull her, just that she's a worth valk, especially since she can cover 3 different types of content (phys, bleed, and quantum) Again you don't have to pull her gear if you dont want to, his advice isnt only for you, its for others that are in the situation that need/want a phys unit

My FR is only SS1 so I have no choice but to go for Susannah gears. Besides, she can handle Qua and Bleed weather well which is a win for me since I’m giving my pity priority to HoFi. By the end of 6.6 gacha spree with Prom gears and HoFi, there’ll be nothing left for DW🥲
