I don't have her yet so when she reruns I'll get c0r1 of her (I have 327 wishes saved + 21 pity no guarantee) and i plan not to pull for any other characters but this shit is finna be hard bc i want nahida and clorinde but whatever I'm loyal for Furina, if I managed to skip all characters from 4.8 i can keep this going

He's the one character I've truly whaled on, i got him c0 r1 on his first rerun with arlecchino and then c4'd him on his 2nd rerun last banner. I really dont regret it since he's by far my favorite and pretty much all his constellations are all very strong.

Your video is similar to my story. I pulled for C2 on the initial banner and HAD to get C6 on her rerun which I did. I love how versatile she is and fills 4 roles (DPS,SUB-DPS,Team Healer with no circle impact,Team Buffer).I use Chiori's weapon on her since I lost the 50/50 for Xilonen's weapon and I get a better overall stats than R5 Festering Desire or R5 Wolf Fang. She's the second character I get to C6 though, Yae Miko was the first because of her unconditional damage that can reach any enemy in the game . I love the idea of characters you can toss in any team and they work. And I lost 50/50 80% of the time since the game launch so I have C5 Qiki,C5Jean,C4Diluc,C4Keqing,C4Mona and C3 Deyha and never pulled a featured 5* early when not guaranteed. My last debacle was 310 wishes for C1 Emilie.

For perspective the current average number of wishes to get a banner 5* is 93.75. That comes from Genshin's own statement that 5*s get a 1.6% drop overall, pities included; and then multiplying that by 1.5 because of the 50/50.

Wow, your story with Ganyu is very similar to mine 😂 I too started playing around Childe's first rerun and had to wait a long time for Ganyu's rerun. I saved up 300 pulls and got her to C4, no 50/50s lost. On her next rerun I got her to C6 in 150 pulls, again without losing 50/50s. Clorinde caught my eye next. I skipped everyone in Fontaine except Furina. I did 580 pulls and got Clorinde to C5R1, now waiting for rerun to C6 her. I've spent zero money in any gacha, completely F2P. I probably won't save up for another C6 though 😂

I C6R1 Lyney back on his release. I am F2P too, I saved up all of 3.X (skipped every banner during Sumeru, even Nahida). Why? I just.. really like him.. Now, a year later, after a few lucky pulls I have my most-wanted Sumeru chara (Nahida), and Furina too from their reruns!! I don't regret C6ing Lyney at all, I love using him in overworld and abyss, everything dies so quickly xD I think if I ever decide to C6 a 5* chara again, it'd probably be Furina. She just deserves it

Furina’s great at any constellation really. Her C6 is ofc amazing, and it would be really cool to have because I also really love Furina. When her first banner happened, I had some wishes saved but I don’t think it was enough for a 5 star, or it wasn’t enough for 2 five stars, I forgot. Anyway, what I do remember is losing to Jean, and then I kept grinding but my chances weren’t looking good so I ended up spending 30 dollars maybe? Not really whaling in my opinion, but I did have to spend money. I’d say over the 3+ years I’ve played Genshin I’ve definitely spent more than 100 dollars on the game, but not all at once. The largest pack I bought was the 50 dollar one, which was once I’m pretty sure. I found that a feels a little more rewarding to save for a long period of time then to buy your five stars. If it ever comes to a point where what I’ve saved isn’t enough, then I guess I’ll just have to hope 30 dollars or less can cover it.

I resonate a lot with what the author of this video said! Genshin luck can be merciless - or absolutely wonderful. I know because I had always been unlucky in this game, having lost most of my 50/50s and only pulling my 5-stars on hard pity, which was terrible. But then patch 4.7 happened, and oh... how ignorant I was, little did I know that it would become a turning point for my luck. Knowing how bad my usual pulls were, I've decided to cover my bases this time- I had been saving up for a year to get my C2 Alhaitham to C6. I was so determined to reach this goal that I skipped EVERY Fontaine character, including Neuvillette and Furina on her first banner. But more importantly, I did this because he's also my favourite character, so I wanted to make sure he'd be my first C6. With that context in mind, let's get back to my story: The date was now July 4th, 2024. So far, I had managed to hoard an impressive amount of 850 Intertwined Wishes (plus 187 from Starglitter), by doing frequent purchases of Blessings of the Welkin Moon and the occassional Battle Pass here and there. I'm what many would consider to be a small dolphin, I think. And so... having prepared myself, I pulled. I was fully expecting to see the 800+ wishes going down the drain on my Alhaitham pulls alone, but instead... I got extremely lucky, managing to grab myself his C6 alongside his weapon, by spending only 450 wishes. I was completely baffled. Motivated by the rush of pulling after such a long time, I decided on a whim to see how many Furinas I could also get. I had nothing to lose now, and on top of that, I also knew that Furina was an excellent character to add to my roster, so I decided to spend all the remaining Intertwined Wishes I had on her. Fortunately, the game decided to bless me yet again with another C6, to the point I was speechless when my pulling session ended. Somehow, this miracle happened and I managed to go from having zero C6 characters in my account to now having two; and all of that happened in just one patch. The result? All I can say now is that I've been having a blast with my C6 Furina ever since. She is one of the most fun character's I've played. I am incredibly happy with her, and immensely grateful that my stroke of luck hit when it mattered the most 🛐🛐🛐🛐

Basically 7 times in limited banner in a row (after i went for xylonen lost again so currently im on 8 50/50 loss streak). For weapon banner on release i lost one time and on rerun i got two sigewine weapons before finally getting signature. So yeah i kinda lost everything i could have lost while pulling furina. I currently have a c3 r1 yelan and I know I was reaaally lucky with my pulls. Her nect rerun she will be c4 and I plan methodically for her saving almost everything.The only natlan character I like is citlaly and I have every fontain character I like so unless a weapon banner is good I will not be pulling fir them again. My nahida went from c0 to c2 in around 80 pulls with my first double so after yelans c6 nahida is symbolically the next one in line.

Also C6 Furina haver here. Quite a similar story, to be honest. For the longest time, my favorite character was Albedo, but when the Fontaine teaser came out, I knew I truly adored Furina. "She's an archon, she's going to have an awesome C2!", I thought. I never had a limited 5 star constellation, so the idea of having C2 achron, that was also my favorite character sounded amazing to me. I managed to save 250 wishes + 50 pity in 4 months with welkins. However, when the banner came out I lost my 50/50. And then again. With all my wishes I only got C1 furina with 50 pity and no guarantee. I was horrified of losing my 50/50, but I continued playing the game and doing the events. Eventually, I got to soft pity and actually won - I got C2. The weapon banner was very awful at the time, as I do not own Baizhu, so I decided to just wish on Furina's banner until the very end. Surprisingly, I got C3 indecibly early! And then the banner ended. By that time, I had already decided to get C6 on her re-run. I wished on Chevreuse's release and got early 5star, being Tighnari. I was guaranteed and didn't want to lose it until Furina so I stopped wishing and started saving. Coincidentally, my savings magicly disappeared on Chiori's weapon banner. I didn't play Genshin in time to get Cinnebar Spindle and I wanted a weapon for Albedo. I lost twice tho, but at least got Itto's signature for him. After that, I rushed every single primogem I could have got until Furina's rerun. Again, I had 70 pity, guarantee, but only 150 wishes this time. I was desperate to win my 50/50s. Got C4 in 10pulls. Then CHEVREUSE appeared out of the blue, which was very nice because I didn't have her. Then I won at C5 and lost the C6 to Qiqi. I didn't have any primogems left so I decided to explore the desert, which I hate. And then she came home in a single wish, around 30 pity. Always the last constellation was super early. In total, i spent around 700 wishes to get 7 copies of a 5star. Not worth it. Chiori's weapon went to Furina, since she needed it lots, but I got another copy randomly at 3 pity on Chiori's rerun, so now both of my mains can have them. I only ever decided to wish for cons, because I had no problems with clearing the content and was generally not interested in anyone. Do NOT wish for cons if you don't feel the need to, as they are not nessesary.

I've been getting welkins and BPs, ocassional crystal packs, and had few units with contelations (Ie. Raiden, Nahida) and few Signature weapons. Then Neuvi came out, I got him a C1 and a signature. Then I got him C2 on 1st rerun. Got Furina and Xilonen C2s, and then Neuvi's 2nd rerun came along. I figured, C3 is great stopping point, and I had about 200 wishes saved up for Arlecchino and Mavuika. Turned out I didn't like Mavuika as much, so I went for Neuvi C3. Lost 50/50 for C3, so I've spent extra 70ish wishes. Then looked at remaining 130ish wishes and had a bright idea to go all out for C6. In hindsight, it was a terrible impulse decision, where is was highly unlikely I would get the remaining constelations and C4-C5 are rather worthless without C6. Won 3 50/50s in a row, one of which was early, so now I have my Neuvi, am super happy about it, and will never do it again. Will most likely stay in the range of C2+Signature if I like a character from now on. I would've probably swiped if I got stuck at C4-C5 just due to being impatient, so I'll do my best to avoid temptations, and will have to tamper down my expectations because of ideas like "what if I win 3 50/50s again?"

I get it, I used to be a very casual player, and then Furina happened. It took me 170 pulls to get c0 and I had to open my wallet (no regret, just anger at my terrible luck) and then in-between her first and second banners I saved up primogems for 8 months and then pulled 6 more copies..... I was very aware, when I won FIVE 50-50s in a row during c6 pulling, that I was the luckiest ever and that I was never going to do this again because I was never going to be that lucky ever again LMAO! I am in the exact same situation: whaled for C6 Furina and sure enough it took me over 1k wishes to max her out (bottom 0.03% total luck on that pulling session). Do i regret it? Yes. Would i do it again? No. Why did i do it? Who knows but i am absolutrely not C6ing anyone else anymore. In spite of moment, i liked the characdterand sort of wanted to show this, but after i got what i wanted you just realise that its not worth it. I'd also like to share some thoughts as the owner of 5 C6'd limited 5* characters: 1. Don't C6 main dps unless you really REALLY like them as a character AND very much enjoy their playstyle. Chances are there will be more cool/cute/powerful/fun/etc characters in the future that could potentially better fit your preferences. 2. Don't C6 support/off-field characters unless it's Furina. Her C6 is (currently) the only one among the supports that adds significant quality rather than damage boost which will become only more negligible in the future comparing to your main dps output. Of course you can just violate all of that if you have a substantial income but then it's up to you🤷‍♂ Please spend responsibly.

After you're able to max star abyss, any investment beyond that is to clear it faster, to the point I feel like I'm spending money to play the game less. It may be fun to clear abyss as fast as you're clearing dailies for a few cycles but after that?

I've been insanely lucky in this game. I've won the last 15 50/50 pulls, and when I got Xilonen on a 10 pull I got two of her in the same pull. I've started getting constellations for 5 stars recently just because it's yet to really cost me very much. Got Zhongli and Neuv in this last banner without spending a dime and still have thousands of primos left over. If luck alone gradually turns me into a whale then, well, that'd be neat.

This gacha system is so predatory, Requiring 6 pull of a character and a "signature" weapon to see a character at their full potential? yikes. Im a dokkan battle veteran its the most f2p friendly gacha game ive played. for example in dokkan you would need the equivalent of just 4 Characters to have your unit reach its full potential, not to mention the rates are far higher and the pitty system is actually good. genshin seems like a relic of gacha games the 2021 format thats quite outdated and should be left in the past...
