Before you throw out “broken” battery operated Christmas lights… watch this and fix them!

Thank you, Anna. I was about to throw away my battery operated Christmas lights but I love them so much and decided to try it fix it instead. I gave it ago and didn’t give up. I cleaned the inside with vinegar and rubbing alcohol. I also scraped the heck out of it. It wasn’t until I added the pieces of foil when it started working again. Woo hoo!!! To think I was about to put it in the garbage 🗑️ so glad I decided to try to fix it. Thanks!!!! Merry Christmas 🌲

I had a wreath with a timer, forgot to take the batteries out and found corrosion and it no longer worked, your trick WORKED like a charm, THANK YOU!!

Had 1 rusted out spring that was loose. Had to toss it and use the aluminium foil as you did. Worked a treat. Favourite Christmas decoration restored. Thank you! ❤️

Wow, I’m going to try this. The spring side on an item rusted out and I did put foil on it to see if it would work and it didn’t, now I see you put it on both ends. I’m about to try it now and I’ll let you if it worked for me. Thanks for sharing!!!

Who taught you how to do this? I mean, how did you learn to do this? I didn’t even understand how the current worked until you explained it! Going to give it s shot. Nearly threw out, but they’re little honeybee lights; unique! So, going to try to salvage them in the AM, following your lead! LOVE women knowing trades; how to fix things; independent! Trailblazers. Can you modify decorative lights from being battery-operated to being plugged-in to a power source, or even to being solar powered? Thanks SO MUCH! Nice to see i am not the only one that mends cheap fairy lighrs! Your video completed my knowledge tho was using tin foil,but often rather from luvk than knowledge it worked.thk you for yr complete circuit.let"s hope that encourages against the 5hrow away culture.thx.
