I am one who doesn't get moved often. But this game really took my breath away. The beauty of the story that makes you think about life and the realism of the voice acting behind it. Just thinking what those parents had to go through. This truly was a beautiful game..

To me this game acted as a sort of warning that death can happen at any point in one's life, it doesn't discriminate, if someone is in the right circumstances death will happily take them away, this is what scared me the most, I am aware that it's actual message is to enjoy your life as much as possible because you'll never know when it'll end, but still, the red flower thingy, the frantic beeping of the heart rate monitor, elle screaming "I CAN'T NREATHE!" it gave me an existential crisis I wish I'd never had, still good though, ramble over.

I always try to tell people that I'm pretty sure his mom was just having a panic attack - which as someone who has had one, they can definitely make you feel like you're dying or having a heart attack

I'm not really one to be moved by most media, but dang this really hit close to home. Wasn't expecting any game to top To The Moon, but here we are. The fear of not meeting the expectations of those who sacrificed so much to make you a better person, to make you better than them, and dying before you believe you've achieved anything. The way the conclusion to the game handled all of that was perfect. More people need to experience this.
@bigtall25 Жыл бұрын
To the moon has been on my backlog list, should I move it up?
@davidgn40 Жыл бұрын
@@bigtall25 I heavily recommend it. It's kind of dated and it was made with RPGMaker so that may throw some people off but it's not long. Even if you just watch a playthrough on KZbin I think it's worth experiencing.
@Camustang7 ай бұрын
@@bigtall25 To The Moon feels extremely dated to me and the dialogue feels...forced, at best. I could only play it for 1hour before the dialogue took me out of the game for good. The writer simply couldn't stop themselves from including banter and jokes...even when the characters are supposed to be doctors, in a room with a dying patient and their family. It's tone-deaf, there's no way around it.

My girlfriend and I’s six month anniversary was just a few days before I played this game. Her name’s Chloe. Needless to say, this game hit me way harder than it had any right to. But now, I’m more grateful than ever for the life I have. Every day with her is a gift.

I had only played high octane action games until I decided to play this game from my friend’s recommendation. This quickly became the most transcendent and eye opening experience in gaming. I cried like 3 times and I consider my self to be the toughest to make feel anything at all. I have only cried once before when consuming media.

I just finished this game today and on a day that due to my life circumstances has been one of my lowest in a period where I have been constantly been thinking about death, and this game made me remember the importance of life and look back at beautiful memories of my past, and now I just have an insatiable drive to create way more new memories and keep moving forward so I can look back at them with joy just like today, I give thanks to Pewdiepie for making me aware of the existence of such beauty and I thank the developers and the directors of Before your eyes for making it, it may be early to say this but your game has changed my perspective in life so THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART 😊

This makes me so happy to see because i finally got out of my severe depression about 2 years ago i had been depressed since 6th grade cause ALOT of bad things with family over and over again and i was severely bullied at school and because of what i had lived through i tried killing myself 2 times and when i finally was gonna finish it with my 3 attempt something in me told me to fight back because my grandfather died in middle school and was and still is the one person i look up to and love over any other person past, present, and most likely future and i was not gonna end my life without at least trying to make him proud Shortly after that life really started to look up and ever since that point ive started wanting to get healthy for the first time since like 5th grade, and not only have i started to feel better but ive started to look better for the first time since like elementary school and as of recently for the first time in my life ive started loving myself, started loving life, and most of all started to treat life as a gift because just like this game shows there are kids who don't even get to make it into they're teens and if i lived to be an adult and kill myself it would be like i was just giving the middle finger to all those kids who would have loved to live this long but couldn't so morale of the story ive finally realized what's important about life that i couldn't realize for so long Hope you enjoyed listening to my life and thank you for posting you comment that lead to me saying this, but most of all thank you for letting me hear your story

@@dodobird2575 I can't agree more with your statement and I'm glad to have people that relate to my life story, life it's a constant up and down but we have to stay strong not four ourselves but for the people around us, and the people that our existence will affect in the future. Thank u so much for sharing your experience and I wish you the best for your future ❤️

30:11 (A Full Life) This sountrack hit so hard, like if you know and understand the story... This soundtrack will probably be the one who will hit you the hardest because (SPOILER ALERT AHEAD) knowing the fact that your mother wrote something for you is just something so heartwarming for me and the message of your mother to you is something.... So emotional and heartwarming. Like in her message, she just express how much she loved his son, like telling him that he don't need to dream of having a full life because he already have it and his mother just remind him about the full life he already have and his mother also told him how he just reminded them (his parents) who they really were after they have almost forgotten it.

I've only found out about this game yesterday. I don't think any other game got me moved as much as this one. The portrayal of that kid fighting the disease as it worsens got me shocked. Ever since finishing it, I started questioning my own life, the missed opportunities, past mistakes and not living up to full potential despite my own existing hardships. It'll take me a few days to dig out of this mindset.
