Joe, hi! You're a big lad! It is very correct to post video lessons and explain how to start learning guitar in the public domain! This is a long journey and a very important stage in your life. Everything will pay off! I wish you good health and joy in life!

I've never taught people guitar but I have given tips here and there to beginners based on my experience and I'm glad to see we say alot of similar things. Keep doing what you're doing Joe! The variation on your channel is lovely.

Great tips! Here’s another one: Give it at least three weeks! From what I’ve seen, if you give it an honest three weeks of practice, you can move from simply struggling to make and change chords and having sore fingers to actually making some music that can be entertaining - at least to yourself. From that point on, it is still practice but it can be more enjoyable practice!

I have been playing for a bit more than a few years now. I learned from youtube. I learned much of what Joe is talking about in this video intuitively through my own experience. I am really happy that beginner guitarists out there have someone like Joe Robinson to teach them the fundamentals of guitar. It's really a pleasure to listen to his music and to learn from his instructional videos. There are a lot of great guys and gals out there who create amazing content but I've never come across anyone who is even remotely close to Joe when it comes t musicianship, philosophy, method, ethics, or approach to the learning process. In addition, his humble personality and charisma make these videos even more enjoyable. Really amazing place to start your guitar journey.

Fantastic lesson ❤🙏 Even though i am a intermediate guitar player, your talk on the instrument is always special & GOLD for me 🙏 . Learned a lot from your beautiful paid course - "Acoustic Guitar Recording"❤ Worth every penny spent on it and pure gold for me your lessons 🙏🙏. Wishing you & your family a very Happy New Year 2023 😊

At some point I saw you picking strings around the bridge area of the guitar and I think that's a incredible technique for sounding a bit bright at certain point of songs. Amazing sounding natural effect

Thanks Nihal! It is amazing the tonal difference of picking closer to the bridge or neck.

I bought fingerstyle steel strings of brand elixer but i have still a lot of tension to make Barre chords of to play the strings. Good advice maybe to go to a guitar store for better setup of my guitar. So the strings are closer to the fret board. Thats why i play better on classic nylon string guitar. ;)

Happy New Year Joe! Thank you for everything! I wanted to say Sarah Jarosz's song Hometown is really amazing and her picking on that is really helping my fingerstyle alternate thumb picking.

Hi Joe! I have a question regarding your frets. Do you have 2.41 mm wide frets? And what do you think on EVOgold frets? Thank you very much! Happy New Year.
