Music has always taken me to a part of my life more than paintings poems or even pictures sometimes. The feelings are captured. I read an article about a space station astronaut who would sit at the big window and play the same song and watch the earth so when he got back to earth he could go right back to that feeling. Thank you again for your heartfelt and mastery

Fantastic! I've done a few of your course (as well as others) and I've always found your interpretations to be "spot on."

how far away are you putting the 84? I can't tell from the angle. I've seen a lot of people put it pretty close. I'm trying to record an aggressive fingerpicking part, and it actually seems too full for me. Wondering if backing it off might be the trick.
@Joe_Robinson6 күн бұрын
If it seems to full, my first change would be move it closer to the headstock side of the guitar - aiming at perhaps the 12th fret. In this shootout, I believe I was about 8 inches away, pointing at the 14th fret. If you move the mic back, you'll get a little less proximity effect (less fullness), but you'll also pick up more of the room. Generally for louder parts, i'll move the mic further back, for softer part i'll move the mic closer. Cheers and all the best with the recording! Joe
