I wouldn’t say, “destroy”, because it’s a destructive word....I would lean lean more towards either replace or diminish & add in life to the reading and that’s more of a positive aspect. But if I were feeling as though I’m being more likely bothered too much I would go with destructive but not too destructive depending on how they’re using it because if they started it and they’re using more destructive force and using it against, I would feel more of likely that i I have to return it for their outcome in how they thought a certain thought. If someone was destructive on somebody that victim would be somewhat destructive but would need more therapeutic healing in their destructive case that was done physically against them there would be understanding between a good therapist in training how they need to think more like in the gentle realm and less in the destructive forceful thing. Which was my case a few years ago and I was very happy with that I’m still battling destructive due to somebody linked onto me for no reason but if their own issues and they are using destructive but at the same time trying to find something on me to use in a court situation and it’s them who likes to lie on people like me and get them to turn their innocence around because they’ve always wanted to destroy me in every way possible and I’m battling whoever it is that is abusing me in my journey and they’re not kind. They’re abusing all out and they know they need to stop their antagonizing behavioral issues and I see right through them.

Wisdom of human nature usually comes with age, the Tarot is all about human nature and mother nature, therefore you already have an advantage over a very young initate of Tarot. Tarot is not just about reading for others, it can give you a deeper understanding of yourself! I started Tarot at age 24 and am now 57, and there is always something to learn at any age, it is great for a self development tool and inner reflection.

Hi Joe, ive recently started watching your classes, primarily on thoth.. i have alot of analysis paralysis mostly over reading...and i think its leading me to have less confindence in doing a reading for someone other than myself.. it seeems like there is always another layer or another system or pathway to learn that plays an important role in the deck.. how do you know when you are ready to read for others?? ive been in the academic stage for quite some time..

This is such a good question and, if I have time this week, I'll try to make a video on it. There is definitely a huge academic side to tarot, which is beautiful and complex and esoteric and wonderful. BUT, I would be lying if I said you NEEDED all of that to be a good reader. Actually, most readers I have known don't know a lot of the deeper esoteric layers. Most professional thoth readers I have met through fairs and such don't know many correspondences throughout the deck. I recommend following what feels fun for you. Follow what you have a natural affinity towards. When it come to divinatory reading, practice is the most important and your personal connections with the cards will grow overtime. That said, I always recommend going deep if it calls you. Systems such as hermetic qabalah and astrology bring that tarot into a scale of cosmic speculation (which I love). But, cosmic speculation is not always needed in a tarot reading :) Does that help?
