I started with this tut a few weeks after it came out. My wrists used to hurt HORRIBLY starting out. But now I'm so happy to say that they barely hurt at all when doing them! I might come back for updates on my journey! I am very unhealthy. And doctors say (not mine. I don't have one) find exercise you enjoy. I HATE exercising so much! But quads are the only thing I actually find joy in doing! I'm trying to trot now. Wish me luck!

I've always had really bad wrist pain. I tried jumping right into quadrobics and seriously hurt my wrists. Now, almost 3 months later, I started carefully with this tutorial and now I can actually do a quadrobics walk 😭 I am unbelievably proud, no matter how small this achievement may seem to someone else, my joint pain has always limited me

Since I was really young, I've been practicing quadrobics without knowing (hopping up a set of stairs, practicing what you call cantering, and sometimes I feel like I can run up stairs more easily on fours. This tutorial has given me a lot of new inspiration, thank you!

I have a good tip that really helped for me, recording. I set up my phone so it can show my full body and then I turn on slow-mo and just do a jump, then I check what’s the issue and try to work on it, this tip helped me SO MUCH. This’ll probably get lost in the sea of comments but I decided to share anyway in case it may help someone, I learnt how to do a good jump with good form in a year with this method, it’s quite satisfying to see urself doing a great jump as well!

The fact that you guys can actually do this sort of stuff is incredible. This is a great tutorial!! I just have one small addition/correction, which a LOT of people get wrong. Cantering ≠ galloping/running, they're different gaits. Quadrobics stems from equestrian sports, so quadrobics gaits are actually just horse gaits! The difference is: 2🐾🐾3 / 3🐾🐾2 1🐾🐾2/ 2🐾🐾1

I just realized I used to do this when I was younger without even knowing what it was. I used to run around and jump on all 4s and positioned my hand in this animal like structure. Just say that you want to go for a walk and relax, bring your gear in a backpack, if she asks what is there, just say that you put your phone there, so it will not fall from your pocket and break. :) Also, gear isn't necessary!

hey, as a beginner therian (I awakened yesterday) whenever I’m doing quads or even a a walk I can only take 2 steps before falling down. I know people say “practice “ or “it takes time” I’m not sure if I’m doing it right or it’s not supposed to tire me. The most steps I have token doing quads is 2 steps. Is this supposed to feel tiring to the point you collapse? I’m really upset.

@@crystalart9536 I have trouble with quads, and it hurts my neck so I have to look down instead of forward. Try bending your knees while doing quads, and move your legs farther back.

@@crystalart9536For me I do not get tired that easy, but I do play sports. I think that’s pretty normal if you have never worked out the muscles used for quads, and it should get easier over time. I would maybe try working out, such as curling weights or something with upper body strength (arms) and legs. Also only being able to go about two steps is normal, at least for me. I can barely do three, and I can’t trot or run. It’s also good to note some people get the hang of it faster, and that it can take more than a month to either build up muscles so you don’t get tired and also get better at quads. I recommend to stretch before and after you practice (like in the video), start on a surface where you can’t fall and hurt yourself( I heard it’s easy on a trampoline), maybe work out, and keep practicing without overworking yourself.

Tysm for this tut!! I'm not very good at quads atm and I really want to get better and I wasn't sure how since most tutorials didn't really explain how the movements flowed.. I think the jumping part is really helping so far, since I am pretty lazy for now I just land on my knees ;3

I am not a therian or furry but i must say i really respect you all a lot because first of all you are really creative the masks and gear never fails to impress me and you also get out and touch grass a whole lot more then most people as well as your quadrobics being crazy impressive. I also deeply respect you for your confidence, people can be really mean and so to not care about peoples opinions (because they really don’t matter do what you want so long as it isn’t hurting anyone) is an impressive feat. One thing i will say is that the tails you buy can often come from these farms (i can’t remember the name i think they are called fur farms or smth) often are sourced really unethically and harm live animals so when getting them just look into ethical and environmentally friendly tails. But all in all keep doing what you do and love yourself ❤❤❤
