But of course as per your first place to source I looked around the house and I had a couple things unopened unfortunately with no receipt I'm a little weary of putting those items on Amazon those will probably go on eBay. Now I'm at a point where I need shipping supplies but getting comfortable looking at seller amp and keepa happened rather quickly. I'm confident I know what I'm looking at I just need to find more products that fit my profit range and have a decent enough sales velocity🤞🤞

Hey Reezy, I've been watching your videos for an hour or two every day for the past week, I really appreciate all the information you're giving out for free! Question I would like to run by you before i start. As a beginner seller trying to start with RA, should I register a business and create a business email to register for my amazon seller account? or should i just use my regular email address and sell independently? Whichever you think will be more efficient in getting started. I live in Canada, if that makes any difference. Thanks.

Having a separate email for your business is nice and doesn't take very long to set up. Just remember to check it every day which may or may not be a hardship considering you're already checking another email. Wether or not you make a new email doesn't change how you sell on amazon. You can sell as an "individual" (recommended) or as a "pro merchant" Individual seller plan is free but they con is they take $1 extra from each sale and you won't be able to apply to sell restricted brands you're not approved for. You can still do FBA as well Therefore unless your goal is to immediately start getting approved for restricted brands, just stay on the individual plan until you're selling 40 items a month or more (that's the break even point sonce you won't get charged that extra $1)

I am also from Canada too. I think having a different email is better. You do not want to mix up your personal amazon account with the seller account. It is also good idea to have an HST number as you can get all of the HST on your purchases. otherwise it all goes to the government.

many of the place that you buy used products they do not really give you a receipt to match the upc if they even have the original package. so many people source from many different places. I used to sell used products too they make good money and a little slower but it is ok since it is cheap.

Hey Reezy, thanks again for answering my question last week. Got my amazon seller account approved and ready to go couple days ago, so have been getting my feet more in the mud. I went to a toy store today and noticed about 75% of the items that were on clearance were already going for that clearance price on amazon, and a good amount of items with huge clearance tags not being listed on amazon at all. Although i did manage to find couple items that i bought out the current stock of that has both a good sales rating and still going for full price on amazon, so i swept those. Couple questions. First , for those items that were already on clearance price on amazon, would it be a smart strategy to buy them up anyways, wait a couple months for the items to go back to full price, and then list them? or do those items generally stay at a low price? and second question, for the items that have no listing, am i able to make my own listing? or does that only doable when selling a private label item?

It can definitely be a great strategy to buy up items when they're deeply discounted and hold them for the time that the demand increases, or at least until the supply of other sellers have sold out of stock on the price can come back up for air. But it's a multi faceted question because you need to know for certain that the demand for this product will exist in the future, and you can tell this by looking at the past demand.. a lot of stores across the country are doing big sales right now because this is the last chance to clear out inventory before fourth quarter when everyone start stocking up and charging a lot more for the holidays. There's really only gonna be one more sale and it's gonna be short-lived and that will be Black Friday and cyber Monday. but it's very easy to get caught holding bad inventory, so just make sure whatever you plan on holding that it will still be in demand in the future and in this case for Christmas with toys. For the second question, you can definitely make listings on Amazon but it's not super easy. It would take about a half hour to make a terrible listing and probably an hour plus to make a decent listing and depending on how much quantity you can get at that item or how much profit you're going to make it may or may not be worth it to you to invest that time

Oh boy I wish I knew about all the fees in the beginning. This has been such a learning experience. I started out with the pro account and why did I do that 😒. I don’t even want to think about doing FBA lol another stupid mistake I did was order all the free packaging from UPS just to buy shipping from the postal service 🤦🏽‍♀️ the man said ma’am you cannot do that 😂he told me the free packaging comes with a service and I need to take it to the postal service 🤷🏽‍♀️ I have a lot more to learn

You can use the free USPS supplies with UPS, UPS doesn't care. Technically it's against the rules, I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble w UPS or USPS. Do both, but start with Retail arbitrage. You can switch to PL anytime and it's gonna be a slower process that takes longer. Retail arbitrage will teach you how amazon works for cheap and you can do it while you're learning and growing your private label side

With regard to ungating, Amazon does not say "legitimate supplier", they clearly say 10 units must be purchased by manufacturer or distributor.

The wording has changed recently but the same still applies. Retail receipts will sometimes work, and anything that says invoice on it as well as most 8.5x11 format documents will also work. Costco for example is technically a wholesaler and Target online has the ability to print an invoice receipt - both work. Kohls as well

I'm selling a bit of LEGO and some action figures but that's about it. I'll be making a huge change soon. Maybe drop a chunk of money on private label.

I do not know if they can get your ungated but footlocker receipts definitely will do that for you. Dicks sporting good is a good place to source products I know that for sure.

Hey how can you list in the store and the units sale with FBA, wouldn’t you have to wait until amazon receives the units? Or just do FBM to see if they sell?
