Beginner and Intermediate Mountain Biking Trails and Tours in Moab

In this webinar we chatted with Kenny from Bighorn Mountain Biking in Moab, UT.
Bighorn Mountain Biking offers mountain bike rentals at the Bar M (Moab Brand trails) and at the Deadhorse Point State Park trailhead.
Bighorn Mountain Biking started with the mission to make mountain biking easier for beginner and intermediate riders who are visiting Moab and want to adventure out on trails with confidence.
We talked to Kenny about the beginner and intermediate trail systems around Moab, some of his favorite trail recommendations for visitors, and leave no trace principles around Moab to leave the trails better than we found them.
Bighorn also offers private, guided mountain biking tours that you can take if you want to take all of the planning out of your trip and show up ready to ride. You can even learn some mountain biking skills from the guide on the guided trips.

Nobody wants to go to moab to try to take it easy.

You're right, Moab definitely challenges us all! We don't believe everyone fits in the same skill level bucket however. A ride on a green trail in Moab may be difficult for someone who is 70 years old and has health issues, but they still want to get outside and be on trails and experience the beauty of Moab, they are still pushing themselves and challenging themselves in their own way. We want to match the rider with their ability that they want. It's not making it easy, it's making sure that they can plan and pick the trails that work according to their ability level.
