You need to heat the sticker to remove it. Breaks down the adhesive. Even just a hair dryer works.

Excellent, I'm glad your doing this. My dad's going to be fixing his pond this summer (the liner is leaking pretty bad). Hopefully I can pick up some stuff from this to pass on to him if I can't give him a hand. It honestly needs a lot of tlc.

Hello Mike, looking forward to pond Faze part 2. 23 years ago I installed a prefabricated pond 180 gallons did just what you Did I have Koi in mine. Next month I'll be up grading to a new pond 3 feet deep 15 ft round with three waterfalls. Not doing this having pros do if using Greg Wickstock equipment from his KZbin channel And a pro from Michigan 20 plus years installing ponds.

I've had a pre-formed pond for several years and its held up well, I don't think its a bad idea but obviously, there are more natural looking alternatives

A better way to take that sticker off the bottom of the pond is to get a blow dryer and blow it at the sticker not to close but not to far but and it will come off joust life if you were placing it on! great video I want the same!!!😁

That insert should no crack,m. I’m no pro but that soil looks soft compared to the dirt we have in Vegas and my family never took the precautions you did. It lasted years until my parent just fed up with it.

Looks great Mike, I hate to be that KZbin guy but I reckon you'd love an active bog filter, I have always run one on my big pond. I use flag iris, Marsh marigolds and Norfolk reeds. Works really well for me with my messy koi 👍

Personally, I would of made the pond slightly unlevel. So you have an area for overflow for extra rainwater. So it doesn't spill over uncontrollable. But I guess you can fix that by attaching drain holes.

Bro, that tube is probably half the price of a pond plus my pond cost over $300 for the pump , hose , Uv sterilizer and spill way..the rocks and everting else cost around another $200..your going in the better option don’t worry.
